Steenblik Overseas Vacation - Day 3: London Tower, Crazy Lunch, Walking Lots and "Wicked"

After a good nights sleep we went down to the lobby of the hotel and had a very fancy breakfast.  They had a very large variety of foods.  Most definitely all the typical English breakfast foods, and then tons of pastries, breads, fruits, etc.  It was fun to try so many different things.
After breakfast we all met in the lobby before walking to the Underground.  We then took the train to the London Tower.   This is someplace that I didn't go before with my mom.  I guess it used to be a prison back in the day and many of the Steenblik relatives were once imprisoned there.  We walked all around the property and saw where the royals stayed and also were they imprisoned others.  The bathrooms that they used in the olden days were most interesting.
After spending a few hours walking around the palace and the grounds we then walked across the bridge to a crazy food place for lunch.  It was crazy because of the amount of people walking around and the amount of venders selling their goods.  It wasn't all just food either, lots of other random stuff being sold.
I picked one of the first things I saw to try and make it easier but then it ended up not being easier.  Lloyd went with Tony to get my mac and cheese and then they met up with the rest of us.  No one else could decide what they wanted so the other five (Nate went back to the hotel sick) went into a Mexican Restaurant and ate while Tony and Margie ate fish and chips with Lloyd and I over a garbage can.  It was very stressful, but it all worked out I guess.  Margie and I did end up getting chocolate covered strawberries at one of the venders and it was very good.
After they were done eating in the restaurant Amy, Derek, and Don all went back to the hotel to rest.  The rest of us decided to continue touring the city.  We walked around and saw the Abby from Mary Poppins and many other fun things that I can't remember.  We then took the Underground to go to where we were to see "Wicked."  We picked a place to eat and then texted the others where to meet us.  We picked a steak place and it was really good for us that didn't order salads.  They found worms in their salad.  Way gross.  Amy and Lloyd kept eating it even after Suzanne found the worm in hers.  The restaurant was very nice about it and gave us a discount on our food.  The steak was really good, no problems there.
We then walked across the street and got in to see the show.  We had pretty good seats and had a great time chatting with the people around us before the show started.  The show was fantastic.  It was a little weird hearing it with a British accent, but besides that it was great.  They all were great actors and singers.  After the show we then took the Underground back to the hotel.  What a busy and fun day!
