Steenblik Overseas Vacation - Day 11: Travel Day to Paris

We got up this morning and headed to Hollywood Studios.  We wanted to ride the Crush ride while we had the early morning entry pass.  We didn't have to wait too long, and it was a fun ride.  It was a lot more spinney than I would have liked, but not enough that it made me sick.  I then went back to the hotel to finish packing while Tony went on the Avenger's ride one more time.

We had to check out of the hotel by 11:00, but we were all ready to go a little earlier than that.  We then all went to the front of the hotel to pick up the shuttle bus to take us to the train station.  While we were waiting Margie and Nate saw two large vans drop people off at the hotel.  Nate then asked them if they had people that they were taking back.  They said no, so Margie said that we were going to use their services to take us into Paris to our hotel.  We were all very happy about not having to carry our luggage on a bunch of different subways and then drag them to our hotel.
We got the drivers business card so that we could use them again for when we needed to go to the airport (yah) after they dropped us off at our hotel.  Margie got us all checked into the hotel.  Our rooms were not ready yet, so we dropped off our luggage in a room and then headed out to explore the area around our hotel.  The hotel clerk suggested a place for us to eat that was just down around the corner.  He even called ahead for us.  So we went and ate there and it was pretty good.  We then found a windmill that wasn't too far.  We couldn't go into the windmill, but we enjoyed looking at the outside.  We then shopped a little in the local market and picked up a few things before going back to the hotel and getting our rooms.
After we put our stuff in our little rooms (they were not the best, but definitely not the worst), we went with Nate and Amy to check out some covered shopping areas. Derek and Don stayed back at the hotel to rest.
We had to take the subway about 20 minutes away to go to the shopping area.  We found a cool old building on our way that had a lot of things going on.  We found out that the next day was a country wide music festival and so we saw a lot of people starting to set up for that.
We walked around the shops for a little while, but most of us decided that we did not like that so we left Nate and Amy and made our way back to the subway to go back to our hotel. It was a good way to start our Paris part of our trip.
