Pioneer Day Fireworks

Last night we did fireworks at my parents house for Pioneer Day.  We did it a night early because my parents were going up to the cabin today and wouldn't be back tonight.
We headed over there after we ate dinner and hung out for a little while before setting off our parachutes.  We get the cheep smaller parachutes so that we have lots to set off and the kids have lots to chase after.  It was a pretty windy evening so some of them went on the neighbors house and in their trees.
Megan really got into chasing the parachutes this year and it was really fun to see her get into it just as much as her brothers.  We still have a couple more packs that I think we will do tonight.
After the parachutes we got out the pop-its and let the kids throw them all around.  Pop-its are perfect for little kids.  No worrying about them hurting themselves or others.  So much safer then sparklers.
It still wasn't dark enough to start the real fireworks so we just hung out and let the kids play.  Some of the neighbor kids came over and they played together for a little while.  They wanted to see my parents chicken and play in their back yard.
My dad had a trailer full of mulch to take up to the cabin in front of his house and the kids thought it was the funnest thing ever.  Luckily there was a tarp covering the mulch, but the kids got plenty dirty climbing up and and down the tarp.  Megan's feet were pretty much black by the end of the evening.  Good thing for bath tubs and wash machines.
The kids played king of the hill and then slid down the tarp like it was a slide.  Grandma got out some watermelon and the kids thought the trailer was the perfect place to eat their snack.  There is just something about a trailer that is so much fun to play on.
It started getting dark enough so they moved the trailer out of the way and I got the show started.  I decided that I would be the person in charge of the fireworks this time.  My mom and sister went in on some aerial fireworks so I was pretty excited to set those off.
My parents neighbors from all around them came over and watched the show too.  It's always more fun with more people.  There were some fun fountains and then we had eight aerials. We mixed the aerials in with the fountains to make for an exciting show.  The aerials were amazing and so fun to see so close.  After the fireworks were over we got the kids changed into their jammies and then headed home to get Tony to bed.  He was super nice and sacrificed a couple hours of sleep to spend time with the family.  I think it was worth it, we had a good time.

Oh This Pregnancy

I really try not to complain, but boy this pregnancy is making that hard.  I feel like my body is just giving up on me.  I had a bad sinus cold last week and then when I started to recover then my stomach turned on me.
Sunday I was having tons of contractions and I just did not feel good at all.  I ended up throwing up a couple times that evening and just haven't felt very good since.  Really all of July has been hard.  This heat is KILLING me.  I get over heated so fast and can't handle being outside for very long, which is so sad because we usually would spend our evenings in our front yard.
I am still having lots of contractions daily.  Nothing steady, but some are pretty strong.  She offered to check me last week to see if I am dilating, but I didn't think I needed to then.  Now, however, I think I will have her check me next week to see if I am dilating.  This baby just can't come until after Tony is done with green beans.  So that is at least 3 more weeks.
With my other pregnancies I have felt fairly good up until 38-40 weeks, but this one has me feeling full-term already.  We still have 6 weeks to go...6 more weeks.  But then in 6 weeks I will have a new born baby...one hard thing for another.  I am trying to enjoy being pregnant for the last time, but it is hard.  I am just hoping that I don't feel this crappy for the rest of my pregnancy, that would really not be fun.  But if that's the case, I will survive.  Having a sweet baby is all worth it!

4th Of July Family Parade and Fireworks

The family all ready to go on the annual Clark Family Parade around the neighborhood.
Daddy and Megan so excited to be riding in the trailer.
Tyler waving to the imaginary people.  Josh saying "cheese."
Megan saying "cheese."  She didn't like having to stop throwing her Snaps to take a picture.
Josh didn't even try to stop throwing his Snaps to take a picture, silly guy.
Tyler is always good for a cheeser.  Kimball is photo bombing Tyler's picture.

4th Of July Parade and Water Fun

Megan, Josh, and Tyler waiting for the Murray parade to start.  They have their bags all ready for all the candy they were going to get.  We got a ton of candy.  Two gallon size bags full.  Good thing they love taffy.
All the cousins ready to see the parade and collect candy.  Poor Ben is cut off, but all the rest of the grandkids are together.  What a fun tradition.
The kids playing in Grandma Kim's pool.  They had so much fun.
Megan didn't last as long as the boys, but she had a good time.  Tyler and Josh played in there for hours.  We even took them back the next day to play some more.  It's the perfect size pool for these kids.
Megan loves the slip-n-slide.  She made the boys wait a lot so that she could take her sweet time, and then she would cut in front of them in line so she could go more.  It was good for them to learn some patience.
Water balloon fun at Julie's house for Averee's birthday party.  Can't go wrong with water balloons.
Megan loved the water balloons.  She thought it was so fun to play with them and break them.
Tyler loved them too.  He did a lot better at playing the games and trying NOT to let them break.
Josh and Tyler loved throwing them...not sure who Josh is throwing his water balloon at, but he sure looks happy doing it.
Our three cuties.  We are so blessed.
Alex throwing a water balloon at Tyler's back while Tyler was trying to pick up a ball on the ground by Ben.  Typical Alex.
The after shot of the water balloon hitting Tyler's back.  I don't think Tyler was super happy about that, but they all had a wonderful time at the party.  Julie always does fun activities.

Bear Lake - Park Fun

Tyler climbed to the top of the rope pyramid.  He was so proud of himself.  I was proud too.
Megan really likes the swing.  Good times.
Josh likes the swing too.  He's such a cutie.
Josh tried the rock wall, but had a hard time getting going.
Tyler liked the rock wall too, he had no problem climbing right up to the top.
Megan and Josh rocking the ropes.
Josh loved swinging on the hanging swing...thing.  He liked to do it just himself, not with anyone else swinging at the same time.
Tony, Conner, Alex, and Logan swinging on the "thing." The boys loved being swung by Tony and I think Tony loved swinging the boys and making them fly.  Alex was able to hold on the longest every time.
Megan working the swing around thing, with Dad's help.
Tyler at the end of the bars.  It was good practice for becoming the next American Ninja Warrior.
Tyler working the bars.  He could do them all himself.
Teagan and Megan swinging in the big swing.  They both loved it.  These two played so cute together.  When their are only a few girls, they really have to stick together.

Bear Lake - Outside Fun

Tyler running to the end of the race.  He was the second fastest kid at the reunion.
Josh getting ready to run.
Josh finishing strong.
Megan being adorable.
Megan playing in the sand.  The kids all LOVED the sand in the back yard.
Tony would make it and Megan would kick it down.  A good time for everyone.
Josh helping Uncle Gabe and Kevin build the fire for s'mores.
All the grandkids sitting around the fire waiting for their s'mores.
Megan says, "cheese."
Josh, Alex, and Jacob helping Gabe.
"Cheese" - Josh is always too busy to give me a good picture.
Tony making us some yummy, perfectly roasted marshmallows.
Tyler, Josh, and Megan eating their s'mores.  Josh didn't really like the s'mores, but Tyler and Megan did.  We didn't actually give Megan a toasted marshmallow, she just ate all the ingredients.
