Tyler's Graduation Lunch

After Tyler's graduation we took him out to lunch to Los Garcia's.  It was also Margie's birthday so we told the restaurant and they sang to her.  Margie did not love it, but was a good sport.  The food was delicious as always and we had a great time celebrating Tyler and Margie.

Tyler's 6th Grade Graduation

And just like that Tyler has graduated the 6th grade.
They had a nice program where they showed a slide show of the students as babies and some pictures from through out the year.  The kids also sang a few songs.  Tyler sang out loud and proud...and tearful.
After the performing they called each student up and gave them their certificate.  They all did such a good job.  We can't believe Tyler will be going to Jr. High next year.

Allie's Preschool Graduation

The kids all got awards for growth in their classes.  Allie and I love coming to the school to see the kids and their achievements.  We are proud of the kids for working hard to receive these awards.

Field Day

Wednesday was Field Day at the school.  I was asked to help in the afternoon, so Allie and I went to help.  We were suppose to help with the bounce house but it was too windy so they put them down and had me do a game of Steal the Flag.  It was a lot of work but fun seeing all the kids having fun.  Allie did good hanging out.  She really wanted to play, but we had all the big kids so I knew that she'd get run over.  So we got her a snow cone and that made her a happy girl...until she dropped it and was super sad.  So we got her a new one and all was good again.  We got through all the grades and then cleaned up our area before heading home.  It was a good time.

Mother's Day

Nate and Amy came down on Saturday with their kids and their new baby Oliver.  We were able to go to get ice cream with Nate and Amy Saturday night at Leatherby's.  They left Oliver at Margie's so it was just us adults having a good time eating ice cream.
Sunday was Mother's Day.  Tony gave me a beautiful pearl necklace with matching earrings.  Josh made me a magnet with is picture on it and Megan made me a note with a book mark.  They were very sweet.  Tyler said he is making me something in art, but it wasn't finished.
Tyler was asked to talk in church so Lloyd, Margie, Nate, and the two girls came to our ward to listen to him talk.
Tyler did a good job after he got himself calmed down.  I could tell he was really nervous and started trying to get himself calmed down before he even got up to the pulpit.  Once he got up there he took many deep breaths and closed his tearful eyes and after about a minute of that our Stake President got up and put his arm around Tyler telling him it was okay.  It then took him another minute to get all settled down but then he was able to give his talk.  He did a great job saying nice things about me.  He wrote the talk all himself, Tony just cleaned it up a little for him.  We were very proud of him for accepting the invitation to give the talk and then for completing it.  Talking in front of a lot of people is hard for Tyler and he still did it.  Such a great kid.
Nate and his girls stayed and went to the rest of church with us.  After church we ate lunch and then all went to Tony's parents to spend time with Amy and Oliver. The boys and I went to my parents first so we could water their garden and check on the ducks and chickens while they were in Boston.  Tony took Nate and the girls to the house and got to snuggle Oliver first.  Oliver is super cute and we all loved snuggling him.  The kids all took a turn and they think he is super cute and they love him lots.  Suzanne's family came over after a couple hours and so did Nana so we had a house full of fun family.  We ate a yummy dinner and enjoyed the family time.  It was a great Mother's Day!

Lunch with Daddy

Last Friday Allie wanted to go up to Tony's work.  Tony is producing so he wasn't able to go out to lunch with us, so we picked up some food and took it into Tony.  We all ate lunch and then we checked out some of the production.  Allie doesn't like the noise of the machines so we watched the production floor from the window and then went into the labeling room to see the new caser in action.  After we saw all that Allie wanted to see we went back home before the older kids got home from school.  As usual it was a fun trip to Tony's work.

Clark Parent Birthday Party Luau

My parents like to have a big Luau for both of their birthdays and invite all the kids and grandkids.
Papa G started the fun with rides in the 1957 Chevy.  We went around the block and that was just enough fun in the car.
After we played games in the back yard and then ate a yummy BBQ.  We always have fun at grandma and Papa G's house and hope that they had a great birthday.
