We had Brennen and Gabe sleepover and the kids all had so much fun. We had them bring their swimsuits and got out our big pool. The kids had tons of fun swimming and playing together. We are so lucky to have cousins who live close enough to play with us.

Cabin Fun - Shooting Guns
After our yummy BBQ lunch the kids wanted to shoot pp guns and Grandma was so good to let them. Uncle Kevin helped the kids until he had to go to the bathroom and then I was in charge. I know nothing about guns and such, so luckily Hayden and Tyler have learned all the rules about guns safety and they were good helpers. I was glad to see Megan wanted to try and she was so brave. Don't mess with that girl she is tough! Cabin Fun - Four-Wheeling
I must admit one of my favorite things to do up at the cabin is to go four-wheeling. I just can't get enough of it.
None of my kids wanted to go with me on my first ride so Averee came with me and Julie and Hayden did too. We went on a nice long ride that took us to the "Top of the World" and on a fun rocky trail.
Josh didn't want to go on the boat so while the other kids were boating he decided he was ready for a ride. I asked him if he wanted to go on a long ride or a short ride. He said a short ride, so I took him on the loop.
Once we got back to the cabin he didn't want the ride to end but it was Tyler's turn so we traded riders and I told him that I would take him on another ride later in the day. Papa G did take him for another ride a little later in the day. I think he likes it.
I then took Tyler on his ride. I let him decide which road we took when we came to a fork in the road. That took us all over that mountain and we had a wonderful time.
Megan didn't want to go each time I offered until Uncle Boyd brought up their Rhino and Aunt Julie took us all for a ride. Allie said she wanted to go with us and was all buckled in and ready until Julie started the Rhino and it was loud. She didn't like the noise and wanted out. I really need to put her noise cancelling head phone in the car for times like these.
So Allie got out and stayed at the cabin. Lucky for Gavin because then he got to come with us and Kimball.
After we took them on a ride we came back and took the older kids on a ride. We took Tyler and Averee. Their was enough room for a little one so Megan got to go again. It was so much fun and I just love it. Julie is so nice to share her toys with us.
After our Rhino ride we then went in the cabin to start cleaning up before going back home. Josh really wanted one more ride so I took him and Megan on a ride around the loop. We had a great time!

Cabin Fun - Swings!
The kids all like to play on the swings that are under the deck. I don't know if Josh plays on them, but the others really like them.
My parents also have slides that go down the hill and a little rock wall. Fun things to add to all the fun at the cabin.
It felt a lot cooler up at the cabin then down in the valley. The kids played a lot outside and I loved it. I love seeing them in the mountains with their cousins and seeing all the different activities that they do together. We are so lucky to have access to the cabin and that we can get into nature anytime we want.

We went up to the cabin to celebrate Pioneer Day with my family. It's always fun for the kids to play with cousins and fun for me to hang out with my family (Tony had to work).
The kids loved getting out the boat and rowing around our little pond. They also liked walking around the pond throwing rocks in and looking for goldfish. Julie and I walked down by the pond and up around the property a few times for our morning hike. I could have gone a few more times, but Julie was hot and wanted to be done.

Jordan River Temple Couples Date
Tony and I met up with Margie, Lloyd, Nate, and Amy at the Jordan River Temple. Suzanne was going to come with us, but then got sick. She was missed.
We had an appointment to do sealings and it was so nice. It was nice to be able to go back to the Jordan River Temple now that it is open. We had a great time being proxy for those who are dead. There is such a great feeling in the temple and it was nice to just sit and soak it in.
After we were done and got changed we took a picture outside the temple before going to dinner. We all then met at Texas Roadhouse. We called ahead and then once we got there we only had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready.
The meal was, of course, delicious. Good food, good conversations, good company. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful meal. After we were done eating, we chatted for a little longer before leaving for home. Tyler was in charge of the kiddos while we were gone and did a good job keeping them alive. It was a good day!

Graham's Sealing
Sherri and Rich had Graham sealed to them today in the Provo City Center Temple. I had never been there before so that was an extra special treat.I met up with Julie in Lehi so that we could carpool down to the temple. After we parked we quickly found where we needed to be and joined our family in the waiting room.
It was nice to see my cousin James and his wife Alisa, my other cousins Jon and his wife Diantha and my own aunt Connie along with my parents and siblings (except Wendy).
When it was time we all got escorted into the sealing room where we witnessed the beautiful sealing of Graham to Sherri and Rich. Graham did so good too. After he first came in he waved to everyone in the room, it was so cute.
After the sealing was over we all gave them hugs and kisses before heading outside of the temple to wait for Sherri, Rich, and Graham to change and meet us all for pictures.
It was pretty hot outside so we all waited in the waiting pavilion and then when Sherri and Rich came out with Graham we stayed in there and took pictures in front of the statue of Christ. I thought that they had a great turn out of family and friends to support them and it was a wonderful experience. I am so happy for Sherri and Rich and baby Graham. He is officially stuck with us forever. What a great thing!

Wheeler Farm Fun!
We needed an activity for the day. So I texted Julie and asked what she was doing. She said nothing and so we decided to hangout together.
She thought of going to Wheeler Farm and I thought that was a good idea.
I picked up my mom on the way to the farm and we met her there with Averee and Kimball.
We first went by some cool carvings that look like they were made from trucks of trees. They were really neat and the kids liked to play in and around them.

After that we went to see the animals. We saw pigs, horses, cows, ducks, bunnies, and probably more. The kids liked seeing and petting the animals.
It started to sprinkle just a little bit so we went into the milking barn but no cow was there at the time. So the girls sat on the stool and pretended to milk a cow. I thought that they did a wonderful job.

The rain stopped quickly so we moved on to the wagons and bails of hay for the kids to play and climb on. After we got some pictures we moved onto our nature hike. We walked around a little bit and found a really cool tree and a little house.

The kids were then ready to play on the playground so we made our way over there and let them run wild. It got really hot fast so we made plans for lunch.
We decided to pick up the kids McDonald's and then have them eat it at Grandma Kim's house while Mom, Julie, and I went to Rumbi Grill. The kids loved that idea and their Happy Meals. We loved not eating McDonald's and enjoying our adult conversation over a yummy lunch. A win-win for sure.
After eating we stopped at Costco and did a little shopping before going back to grandma's house to get the kids. They had fun playing together at grandma's and it turned out to be a pretty fun day!
