She thought of going to Wheeler Farm and I thought that was a good idea.
I picked up my mom on the way to the farm and we met her there with Averee and Kimball.
We first went by some cool carvings that look like they were made from trucks of trees. They were really neat and the kids liked to play in and around them.
After that we went to see the animals. We saw pigs, horses, cows, ducks, bunnies, and probably more. The kids liked seeing and petting the animals. It started to sprinkle just a little bit so we went into the milking barn but no cow was there at the time. So the girls sat on the stool and pretended to milk a cow. I thought that they did a wonderful job.

The rain stopped quickly so we moved on to the wagons and bails of hay for the kids to play and climb on. After we got some pictures we moved onto our nature hike. We walked around a little bit and found a really cool tree and a little house.
The kids were then ready to play on the playground so we made our way over there and let them run wild. It got really hot fast so we made plans for lunch.
We decided to pick up the kids McDonald's and then have them eat it at Grandma Kim's house while Mom, Julie, and I went to Rumbi Grill. The kids loved that idea and their Happy Meals. We loved not eating McDonald's and enjoying our adult conversation over a yummy lunch. A win-win for sure. After eating we stopped at Costco and did a little shopping before going back to grandma's house to get the kids. They had fun playing together at grandma's and it turned out to be a pretty fun day!
