Valley Jr. High Awards Night 2021

Mr. Nelson announcing Tyler's name.

The teachers cheered and blew bubbles for the students as they walked down the sidewalk in front of the school.

Tyler's Jr. High Choir Concert

We got to go watch Tyler's choir perform an end of year performance.  It was during the day, so Tony wasn't able to go.  The kids all had to wear their masks, so it was hard to hear them very well, but they still sounded good.  Tyler had a small solo and he did it great.  I could totally hear him, and he sounded great.  Margie, Lloyd, and Grandma Kim were able to come and watch him.  Even with masks it was great to have a us all together to watch the kids perform the songs they had be practicing.

Spring Baseball Pictures 2021

Young Men's Campout

The boys got to go on their first camp out with the young men's this year.  Josh left with the young men Friday afternoon and they Tony took Tyler to the camp after his baseball game later that night.  Tony stayed with the leaders and boys that night.

They got to go on hikes, find horned frogs and lizards, they made food and had a great time.  It was Josh's first camp as a young man, and he said he had a great time.  These boys are growing up fast.

Grandma Kim's 70th Birthday Luau

Steenblik Silliness

We found fun posters at Los Garcia when we went out to dinner one night. We love the food there.  Megan has decided that she likes to sleep on the foot of the bed with her legs hanging off the edge.  Donna gave the girls a really large Mickey and Minnie stuffed animals.  They love them even though they are as big as Allie.  They are good snuggle buddies. Finally, I came home to find adorable chalk art from Allie saying that she loves her mommy.  She is so sweet and tells me often that she loves me (Megan does too).  We are just a fun bunch of sillies.

Boys go to the Temple

The boys finally got to the temple to do baptisms for the dead.  It was Josh's first time ever and he said it was an AMAZING experience.  I wished that Tony could've been there for his first time, but Tony had to work.  I am glad that Tyler was there for his little brother.  They both can't wait to go again.
