Mother's Day

Nate and Amy came down on Saturday with their kids and their new baby Oliver.  We were able to go to get ice cream with Nate and Amy Saturday night at Leatherby's.  They left Oliver at Margie's so it was just us adults having a good time eating ice cream.
Sunday was Mother's Day.  Tony gave me a beautiful pearl necklace with matching earrings.  Josh made me a magnet with is picture on it and Megan made me a note with a book mark.  They were very sweet.  Tyler said he is making me something in art, but it wasn't finished.
Tyler was asked to talk in church so Lloyd, Margie, Nate, and the two girls came to our ward to listen to him talk.
Tyler did a good job after he got himself calmed down.  I could tell he was really nervous and started trying to get himself calmed down before he even got up to the pulpit.  Once he got up there he took many deep breaths and closed his tearful eyes and after about a minute of that our Stake President got up and put his arm around Tyler telling him it was okay.  It then took him another minute to get all settled down but then he was able to give his talk.  He did a great job saying nice things about me.  He wrote the talk all himself, Tony just cleaned it up a little for him.  We were very proud of him for accepting the invitation to give the talk and then for completing it.  Talking in front of a lot of people is hard for Tyler and he still did it.  Such a great kid.
Nate and his girls stayed and went to the rest of church with us.  After church we ate lunch and then all went to Tony's parents to spend time with Amy and Oliver. The boys and I went to my parents first so we could water their garden and check on the ducks and chickens while they were in Boston.  Tony took Nate and the girls to the house and got to snuggle Oliver first.  Oliver is super cute and we all loved snuggling him.  The kids all took a turn and they think he is super cute and they love him lots.  Suzanne's family came over after a couple hours and so did Nana so we had a house full of fun family.  We ate a yummy dinner and enjoyed the family time.  It was a great Mother's Day!
