Christmas Parties

On Saturday we went to the annual Steenblik Christmas dinner at Tony's aunt Cynthia's home.  It was a pretty good turn out with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children.  It was nice to see family that we don't get to see very often.  We had some good food and their was even an activity for the kids.  They got to put peanut butter on a pine cone and roll it in bird seed.  The boys liked doing that.  Tony and I were super happy that they didn't do the "talent" show that they normally have.  In the past the talent show has been mainly little girls dancing around in circles - super lame.  But the party was quite nice and we had a good time.
Then yesterday was also a fun day.  The primary sang two songs in sacrament and Tyler and Josh both went up on the stage to sing.  It was fun to see them both up their so big.  Then Tyler had a talk in Primary.  Tony did a good job writing it and helping Tyler give his talk.  Megan had a super hard night that night and started getting a cold so Tony took her home after Tyler's talk.  I wish I could say that Megan is doing better today, but she's not.  The poor girl does not feel good and has a mean cough.
Then Sunday evening we went to my parents for the annual Clark Family Christmas party.  We had lots of yummy food and then did a gift exchange game.  For my gift I picked a Christmas game that we played and it was really fun.  The boys liked playing with their cousins and Megan was pretty much fussy the whole night.  Besides that we all had a good time.
Now today is Christmas Eve and we are going to go to the annul Kresser Family party soon.  It should be fun and I sure hope that Megan is not so fussy.  Poor girl.  Merry Christmas.
