What a Blessing

Since I go in for surgery tomorrow at 11:45 am Tony and his dad gave me a really nice blessing tonight.  It made me so grateful for the priesthood and to Tony for being worthy to give me blessings when I need them.  He gave me one before my ultrasound and he didn't say that "all would be well" or that "everything would be fine", but that I would be able to handle this trial that I was going to have.  Not really something you hope to hear, but I was still grateful to get the blessing.

Tonight Tony (really the Holy Ghost) didn't tell me that it would be easy, or that the doctor would be able to do the less invasive surgery, but that I would heal quickly and well.  He also blessed the doctor and said some really beautiful things about how Heavenly Father thinks that I'm a good mom, and that he is proud of me...and that I would be able to bear more children (a concern I had) - it was beautiful.  He said some other really nice things that are sacred and dear to my heart.  I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband who is so in tune with the spirit.  Now I just need to work on being the woman that Heavenly Father and Tony know that I am.
