Megan received an award for her excellence in reading. She has really gained a love for reading these past few years and it is still going strong. She reads every night and was even asked to read an extra book for her English teacher to let a committee know what kids her age thought about the book.Allie had her Primary Program a couple Sundays ago. My siblings were able to chime in and watch Allie and sent me a couple screen shots of her singing. She did a great job with her part. She was originally given a shorter part, but the primary president asked that we add to it, and I worked with Allie to come up with the rest of her talk. She added her testimony, and it was very sweet. She also did so good with all of the songs. She had no problem singing loud and really helped carry to rest of the kids.
Allie has been working hard on cards and gifts for all of her family members for Christmas. I came down into the office and found a table full of all the cards and the gifts that she had ready for each of her cousins and aunts and uncles. She isn't done with them yet, but she wants to be done with the family that lives in California before we go there for Thanksgiving next week. She is doing this all on her own and I have only helped with how to spell people's names. She has such a big heart and is so nice to include everyone.
