End of School Year and Teacher Parade

Today was our last day of school for this school year.  We returned the Chrome Books that we borrowed from the school and got some summer work from Allie's teacher.  We also found out who the kids have for teachers for next year, so that was fun.  I did request a different teacher for Josh in hopes that he can have the same teacher that Tyler had.  I guess we will see.
Yesterday the teachers and staff at the elementary did a parade around the neighborhood to say goodbye to all the kids.  I had two families from the ward come to our house to see the parade.  They weren't going by their houses so they came to ours.  They started in front of our house and then ended at the side of our house.  We let the kids play in the back yard and on their bikes while we waited for the parade to come back around.  It took a lot longer then I thought it would, but it was nice to chat with Jenni and Laraine while we waited.  I was still feeling woozy and light headed so even though it was a good time, I was ready to go inside and rest after.  It was a crazy way to end the school year, but we are so thankful for the teachers and how they handled the situation.  We are all happy not to have to worry about getting school work done and now we can relax!
