Charleston - Day 1: Morning Fun

Wendy got a sweet truck for our rental car and it worked out perfect. We all fit perfect in the cab and we looked super cool driving around in our cool truck.
After getting ready and eating breakfast, our plan was to go site seeing downtown.  Our first activity was to go on a horse drawn carriage ride around downtown Charleston.
The horses were beautiful and we were so excited to go on our tour.  Our tour guide was so good.  He is a local guy and had tons of awesome information about the town.  He told us that we all needed to eat local.  He said that if we went to the Olive Garden he would kick us out with our bread stick.  It was funny.  He did give us a couple recommendations, so that was good.
We all loved our horse ride and we learned a lot about the area and the history.
Charleston is so pretty.  I really wished that I would have studied up on American History before I went on this trip so that I would have been more familiar with the names and the stories that were shared.
