Megan's Name

We have been working with Megan for many months on learning how to write her name.  Her kindergarten teacher has been great and Megan is now writing her name like a pro.  Even though she has been told many times to only write on paper, I found her name written on our leather couch in ink and it was circled.
We had a nice chat about only writing on paper and I hope to not find her name written on anything like this again.
I tried to take it off but it either didn't come off or it took the color from my couch.  I think I will just leave it there for now.
I must say that I am glad that she is finally writing her name and enjoying doing it.  I must say that it is about time!
