Allie's First Day of Preschool

 Allie was so excited to go to school.  She didn't seem nervous at all.  We all walked to school and she played at the playground for a few minutes before wanting to line up for her class.
After the bell rang her teacher, Ms. Katelynn, came and got the kids.  Allie walked right into the class and then needed my help to hang up her backpack.  After, we found her name collar and then lined up to wash her hands.  She did all these things very well without any problems.
Then it was time to sit down and eat breakfast.  I opened her food for her and then she could tell that it was time for me to leave and started to cry a little bit.  I gave her a hug and told her I would come back soon.   Then left without turning around.
I did talk with one of the teachers about her not being potty trained yet and she had already started to calm down a little bit with her teacher by her side.
When I came to pick her up she was super happy and had a great time.  The teacher said she only cried a few minutes and then stopped and had fun.  At first I wasn't sure about putting her in preschool so young, but now I am super glad I did.  She had a great time and will learn tons of new fun things.  I can't believe my baby is a preschooler.
