Today was a pretty good day. We did a little shopping today at K Mart. We don't usually go there, but I like to change things up a little bit. The main reason I wanted to go there was for some new pajamas. I generally like the selection that K Mart has in the style that I like. We also found a couple gifts for our nephews, some sippy cups for Josh, a new mail box (it was cheaper there then at Home Depot), and we found car booster seats buy one get one free. So we got two new booster seats for when Josh is too big for his car seat.
Later we drove down to Springville to my sister, Sherri's house and we all went to dinner at Fat Jack's. It is a yummy pizza place. I really mostly just like their cheese bread. On our way to Sherri and Rich's we stopped and saw some piggies, lambs, ducks, turkeys, a donkey, and a kangaroo. Someone close to their house has a ton of land and a ton of animals on it. It was so fun to see all the cute little baby animals. It felt like a free zoo. Rich and Sherri have two little dogs and Tyler just loves playing with them. He likes to play fetch and run with them in circles. They are good dogs and it is fun to see them play. We had a good time with them.
After dinner we went to Tony's cousin Laura's wedding reception. They had it at the Springville Museum. It was very nice. They had Italian ice cream and soda. It was very different in a museum, but it turned out beautiful. Tony thought it would be fun for Tyler to have a sleepover with his cousin Brennen, so after the reception we followed them to their house so he could get his stuff and then we headed home. The air mattress was blown up, pajama's are on, and all the boys are currently in bed. Tony went to lay with Tyler to make sure that they actually go to sleep. I hope that they all sleep well and in turn, I will sleep well too. Which would be very good...I'm tired!

Sunny day and the park
Today was such nice weather. I love spring. So many pretty flowers blooming and when it's not raining, it is just a delight to be outside. After lunch I took the boys on a stroller ride around our neighborhood. I like getting a little exercise and the boys like seeing the different sites. Now that Tyler is bigger I let him choose which way we go. While we were on our walk we saw a guy from our ward going towards the park with his little boy, so we decided to join them.
There is a really nice park by our house. I like this playground because their are lots of rails so I am not so concerned about Tyler falling off. That makes it nice to go and and not worry so much. I really should take the boys there more often. We all had a good time. I took Josh home and put him to bed. He seemed extra tired today. He took some good naps. I hope that he sleeps well tonight. Since he had gotten sick last week he has been waking up to eat at least once a night. This is not like him at all. I hope that he stops that soon. He has spoiled us with his good sleeping.
There are so many houses in my neighborhood for sale. I hate seeing so many For Sale signs. I saw some people over at one of these houses tonight and it looked like they were pretty serious. I hope that they buy that house. It just isn't good for my house to have so many houses for sale by me. I hope some fun families move into the neighborhood, that would be great.

Family Pictures at Wheeler Farm
Today we went to Wheeler Farm to take pictures with Tony's family. It was a beautiful day and we all had a good time. We all wore red, white, and blue in support of our brother-in-law who is being deployed to Iraq in a couple months. Tyler didn't really smile too much for the pictures, but he didn't throw a fit, so I was glad about that. Josh was tired, but did pretty good except during the pictures with grandma and grandpa. Such is life. I am sure that the photographer got some good ones, and it will be fun to see them when they are ready.
After we got our pictures taken, we went and looked at the animals. Tyler loves animals and enjoyed being at the farm. I will definitely have to take him back there to spend more time with the animals. After checking out the animals, we all went to Golden Corral to eat dinner. It was fun having the whole family there together. We don't get to be the whole family very often so when it happens, it is very nice.
Tyler loves his cousins and plays very well with them. It is really neat to see him has a little kid eating and talking with other kids. He really is growing up too fast. Tony gave Josh some banana pudding and he really loved it. He is such a good eater and such a happy baby. His wet diaper leaked and got his pants wet and then he had blow out and got his onesie messy, so we had to leave the restaurant with Josh just in a diaper. I guess it is time for me to start packing extra cloths in the diaper bag. Thanks to Tony's parents for dinner and a fun evening.

Da Da Da
Today Josh started "saying" Da Da Da. Tony likes to work with him on saying it, so of course he said it today while Tony was at work. It was way cute and he kept repeating it. I hope that he does it again tomorrow while Tony is actually here to hear it. Tony did the same thing with Tyler when he was a baby, but he said Ma Ma Ma first and actually didn't say Da Da Da for quite a while after that. So I was happy that Josh said Da first for Tony.
Today me and the boys went to Chick-Fil-A with my friend Richelle and her daughter Maddie. Tyler and Maddie had fun playing in the play area and Richelle and I got the eat and chat. It is always nice to hang out with her and they kids did really well together. We definitely want to do that again. On our way out to our cars, I totally tripped in the parking lot. I was holding Josh in the car seat and Tyler was also holding the car seat. I didn't see the parking strip cement line thing, and totally fell. I hurt my toe pretty bad, but besides that we were all fine. I felt so stupid though. I starting crying just because of how dumb I felt. It was right when a bunch of people were leaving too, I am so dumb. But the people were really nice and helped me up and helped me with the kids, so that is good. You would think that someone who is 29 years old wouldn't hurt her self so much...I am so clumsy.

Visit to the doctors
I decided to call Josh's doctor today to see if I should take him to see her. She said that she did want to see him, so I took him to in this morning. His oxygen level was good, his lungs sounded pretty good too. But she said that his ear wasn't so good, so she decided we should treat him for an ear infection. See also said that if she sees him again for wheezing, then she will probably put him on a daily asthma medicine. That wasn't so much fun to hear. She also said that most little babies who have asthma as a baby tend to grow out of it. So either way, I am not too worried. He seems to be doing a little better today. We started the antibiotics with Josh today, so I hope that he will only be getting better and better. He is actually sleeping laying down in his own bed right now, which is a huge improvement from the past 3 nights. Earlier he fell asleep on the ottoman while I was patting his back. I just hope that he sleeps well tonight. I really think that you need good sleep to get healthier. So here's to good sleep...for everyone!

Josh is sick...again
So, poor little Josh is sick again. He got a little cold (with the rest of us) about three weeks ago and has been stuffy ever since. The rest of us got over the cold within 2 days, but not Josh. I wasn't really sure what to do about it because, do you take a baby to the doctors because he is stuff? I guess that I should have.
Saturday night was a really hard one for Josh and he got a fever, so we decided that Tony would take Josh to Instacare on Sunday morning instead of waiting to see our doctor on Monday. They checked his oxygen level (it was 98 - which is good), ears looked good, but his lungs didn't sound good. They said he had some sort of lung virus and needed to start doing breathing treatments again. Now thinking back I realize that I should have thought that the stuffiness was stuck in his lungs and I should have taken him to see the doctor...live and learn.
It has been a hard a couple of days so far. I am suppose to go to work today, but since Josh is still having a hard time I am not going in. Tony works nights this week so that really sucks trying to get Josh to go to bed by my self. Last night he refused to fall asleep and didn't end up actually sleeping until after eleven. Even then we have to have him sleep with us in the rocking chair. I hate when kids are sick. I hope that he continues to get better. I now know that if his cold lingers longer then the rest of us, I am going to take him in to the doctors. Until then, a couple more sleepless nights and long days of a ornery baby...lucky me.

The Fence is Complete!
The fence is finally done. We actually finished it yesterday. It is looking really good. We did find a couple potential problems. On one of the gates, the latch is a little low so Tyler can climb up the fence and open the latch. Also, with the other fence Tyler was trying to open it with his baseball bat. Luckily he wasn't able to maneuver the latch. So we had to go to The Depot and pick up some U bolts to put in the gates when we want to make sure that Tyler doesn't get out. That silly boy, he is too clever. Here are some before and after pictures.
We think that it turned out pretty good and we are very happy that it is done. Tony moved lots of sprinklers today and yesterday, that needed to be moved because of the fence. He finished it this afternoon and they all look great too. I mowed the lawn while Tony worked on the sprinklers. I used the edger for the first time today, I did an okay job for my first time. It needed to be done and I didn't want to wait until Tony could do it. Our lawn is looking pretty good, if I do say so my self. Hopefully it will stay that way for a while.

I didn't go to school for that...
Tony decided with his last hair cut that we should get our own clippers and I should learn how to cut his hair. Since this was his idea, I figured he couldn't get mad at me if I totally messed it up. Yesterday I stopped at Costco on my way home from work and got the clipper set. The box came with instructions on how to cut hair and all the attachments. So then we decided to have a go at cutting Tony and Tyler's hair. We started with Tony's hair. I followed the instructions (sort of) and had Tony look at it a lot while I was doing it. I have to say that it didn't turn out too bad. The hardest part was his side burns and by his ear. One side looked really good, and then I kind of went too short on the other side. Live and learn...right?
Then it was Tyler's turn. I held Tyler, so Tony cut his hair. Tyler fought us at first, but then ended up doing a really good job. Tony did a pretty good job on Tyler's hair. This was a good idea for me to learn how to cut boys hair, because lets face it, with three boys I am going to need to do it a lot. Ahh, think of all the money we will save...
We are getting so close to finishing our fence. Tony got one of the gates on and we have about 3/4 of the fence stained. Our neighbors keep telling us what a good job we have done on the fence. It is nice to see that people appreciate all the hard work that we are putting into our house. I am sure by this weekend our fence should be completely finished and ready for me to take some pictures. Can't wait!

Work work work
It seems like all we do these days is work on our fence. We are close to getting it all done. We (meaning mostly Tony) still need to make the gates and stain the outside of the fence. That is all...isn't that great!?! It looks really good. Tony does good work and I am so glad that he is able to do so many handy things so that we don't have to hire out someone.
On Thursday Tony and I went to the temple to do sealings with our ward. It was nice to have a little date night and to go to the temple. We haven't been for a long time and it is always refreshing to go to the temple. Tony's mom watched the kids for us while we went and when we picked them up Tyler said that he wanted to sleep at grandma's house. He couldn't that night, but then on Friday we took him over there to have a sleep over with his cousins at grandma's house. Thank you grandma. Then Saturday morning grandma and grandpa took all the kids up to Logan to go to a baby animal petting zoo. We were told that Tyler did really good at the sleep over and that he had a great time with the animals - and the cousins too. It was nice just having Josh for a change and being able to just deal with him. Tony and I were able to get a lot done on the fence today. We are both looking forward to Sunday where we get to relax and not worry about working on the fence...until Monday that is.

Frustrations
Sometimes I get so frustrated at myself, my kids, my husband, my house...pretty much everything. That is when the not-so-patient mom comes out. I don't like that mom so much. I like the mom that thinks "I know that I have told you the same thing forty times, but I will tell you again nice and sweat." I am generally good the first three or four times, then I get frustrated.
I cleaned the windows and blinds in my front room today. It went well for the most part until Josh woke up from his nap and was really fussy for a couple of hours. Of course at that same time is when Tyler decided that he didn't need to listen to me and thought that he could just do whatever he wanted...frustrating. I admit it...I yelled...I put him in time out...a couple times...I let Josh cry a little longer then I normally would have...and did those things do anything? Did Tyler learn from any of it? Did Josh suffer for crying for five minutes? Who knows? That is frustrating.

Tony has been working on putting in a fence. I am very excited to have a fenced it yard! However, because of the building of the fence, he comes home from work and then goes outside to work on the fence. So then I am still stuck inside (or outside in the cold, if I wish) with the boys. Now I want the fence done, but I also need a break from being stuck in the house all day with boys. Tony can't build the fence AND take care of the boys (mainly Josh is the one that needs taken care of) at the same time...but that is what I would like to happen...the fence to be done and me to have a break...frustrating. Also it is costing a lot more then I thought it would to do this whole fence project. I knew that it would probably be more money then Tony told me, but (as with all projects) there are just more and more things that are coming up that cost money. That frustrates me.
I have been having a really hard time lately with my weight. I know that I need to do something, but I have ZERO motivation. This is effecting my self esteem and I need to do something soon to get me on the right path...but what? Frustrating. What will work for me and my family? What can I do that isn't a ton of money, that isn't a fad diet, that I will want to do and not feel like I am abandoning my children? I just need to get my motivation...but for some reason I am having a really hard time finding that motivation...REALLY FRUSTRATING!!!
