We were the very first guests of the day to go on Splash Mountain.  We felt super special.

Couple's Trip 2019 - Day 3: Escondido to Anaheim

After we left Sea World we drove to our next hotel in Escondido.  We stayed at the Lawrence Welk Resort.  It is the same place that we stayed on our Honeymoon for a week.
After we checked in and got our stuff in our room we walked down to the resort restaurant to check it out.  We decided it was way too expensive and then drove into town for some dinner.  We didn't find anything exciting so we just picked up something quick.
We then drove back and got some much needed rest.  The next morning we checked out of our resort and headed towards Anaheim.  Tony found us a yummy restaurant on the way to stop and eat breakfast.  It was kind of a hole in the wall type local restaurant and it was really good.  We like finding local places to try out.
After eating we drove to Anaheim. We had time before we could check into our hotel so we walked around Downtown Disney and then got some ice cream from Joe's.  We did a little shopping, ate some dinner, and then rested in the hotel.  It was a nice relaxing day.

Couple's Trip 2019 - Day 2: Sea World

We love seeing all the animals.  The seals are especially fun to watch swim around.

I took this picture for Tyler because Sea Turtles are his favorite.

Dolphins and Whales are our favorites.  Always fun to see what they can do!

Couple's Trip 2019 - Day 2: San Diego

We woke up super early so we decided to go down to the hot tub and have a soak before we had some breakfast.  It was a little chilly outside but the hot tub felt nice.

We had some time before Sea World opened so we went to the water and walked around the pier.  We of course had to get a picture by the iconic soldier kissing his lady.

We also saw the World War II memorial.  It was really neat and sobering.

Couple's Trip 2019 - Day 1: San Diego

Tony got off early from work so that we could catch our flight to San Diego.
We had no problems getting through the airport and getting on to our flight.  Once we got to San Diego we rented our car and headed to Old Town.  We parked at the Mormon Battalion and then walked into Old Town to eat dinner.
They gave us some different coupons for Mexican food from the Mormon Battalion so we picked one and enjoyed.  It was an outdoor setting and really nice.  The food wasn't the best but it was decent.  The company was the best part.
After dinner we walked back to our car and drove to our hotel.  It is so nice getting away with just the two of us.

Fall Flag Football 2019

Josh has started playing flag football again.  He is super excited and we are excited to watch him play!

Silly Uncle Tim

Allie has taken a liking to Uncle Tim.  She has always liked him but she has liked playing with him and sitting with him even more lately.
The other day she got my phone and was taking selfies with her and Tim.  He is such a fun uncle and is so patient with Allie and Megan when they climb all over him and call him Uncle Timmy.  We are lucky to have him in our family.
