After we left Sea World we drove to our next hotel in Escondido. We stayed at the Lawrence Welk Resort. It is the same place that we stayed on our Honeymoon for a week.After we checked in and got our stuff in our room we walked down to the resort restaurant to check it out. We decided it was way too expensive and then drove into town for some dinner. We didn't find anything exciting so we just picked up something quick.
We then drove back and got some much needed rest. The next morning we checked out of our resort and headed towards Anaheim. Tony found us a yummy restaurant on the way to stop and eat breakfast. It was kind of a hole in the wall type local restaurant and it was really good. We like finding local places to try out.
After eating we drove to Anaheim. We had time before we could check into our hotel so we walked around Downtown Disney and then got some ice cream from Joe's. We did a little shopping, ate some dinner, and then rested in the hotel. It was a nice relaxing day.
