This is what happens when you take an antibiotic that doesn't like you...
I am sure that you can guess what the "covered" areas look like. Lets just say, last night sucked!!! Went back to the doctor, got another shot in my butt - this time a steroid shot. Also got a new antibiotic (my third this week) and some itch medicine and cream. Just when I think things can't get worse. This is crazy stuff. Still glad for doctors and medicine.

What a week
Well, there was no Weight Watchers week 9 weigh in because I got a kidney infection on Tuesday. I had been taking an antibiotic for a UTI for about 5 days when the symptoms of the kidney infection started appearing. So I went to the Urgent Care and got a prescription for a new antibiotic, pain bills, and a shot of antibiotics in my bum. I was in a lot of pain, so I was glad to get something that would work super fast at killing this infection.
Well I started getting a little itchy yesterday, but super itchy today. I have sense noticed red spots all over my body and I am really itching all over. I called the doctor and they told me not to take any more pain meds, to see if that is what is causing this reaction. Luckily I haven't taken any since last night, so if it is the medicine that I am having a reaction to, then I should start feeling better tomorrow...but if it isn't the one and the problem is my antibiotic, then I am only going to get worse and probably end up at the doctors tomorrow.
All the while Tony got his wisdom teeth out today. I am feeling pretty good, minus the itching and feeling hot and then cold and then hot again, so I was fine to take Tony. We ended up waiting for over an hour before they even got him in, so they gave us free movie tickets. Once they got Tony in, it only took about 30 minutes and they were all done. He only had three teeth and they were all in, so the dentist just had to pull them all out - easy as pie. Then they wheeled him out and I took him home. He was super funny in the car. He had tons of gauze in his mouth and he kept trying to talk to me about what the doctor had told him before. Then he kept telling me the same thing over and over. I kept laughing, it was funny. He seems to be doing really well, so that is very good. Here's to hoping that my itching will stop as will my run in with all these doctors!!!

Weight Watchers Week #8
Sad to report that I gained 1.4 pounds this weigh in. I have to admit that I felt much more hungry this week, it was kind of weird. Plus I ate more treats then I should have. I stayed within my points, so I am surprised that I gained, but I will just have to do better next time.

Weight Watchers Week #7
Last night I weighed in at 4 pounds lighter then the week before. I really didn't think that I would loose such a big number this week. I was actually worried because I had just gotten a sinus infection on Monday and was on medication and I was on my period, so I really didn't know how those things would reflect on the scale, but it was good. I still stayed within my points, some nights still not using all my points, so that is very good. Weight Watchers is doing a 5K next month, so that should be fun. I hope to have my 25 pound goal and 10% goal by then. I am sure that I will because I am very close to both.
Conference was this last weekend. It was especially good this time. They talked a lot about service. There were a couple talks about how awesome women and moms are. Also a lot of talks about single men and women not putting off getting married. A lot of good information. Tyler got to sleep over at Grandma Margie's house on Saturday. Josh was suppose to get to go too, but ended up getting really sick Friday night. Tony took him in and he has another ear infection and was having a hard time breathing again. So we had to give him breathing treatments all weekend with his antibiotics. So Tyler went and had a wonderful time, and Tony and I stayed home with poor sick Josh. He seems to be breathing better and feeling better, so that is good. It is really scary when your baby is having a hard time breathing. Darn RSV from last winter, how I hate you. I sure hope that Josh grows out of have respiratory problems.

Tyler's Preschool
Tyler goes to a preschool that my friend, Kim, from high school does out of her house. She does a really good job and Tyler loves going to preschool and loves his friends that he plays with there. Kim has a blog where she will put up pictures of some of the activities that they do in the preschool. I copies a couple of Tyler that really show how much he loves it.

Weight Watchers Week #6
I weighed in last night and I lost 2 pounds. Not too bad. Now my total weight loss is 20.2 pounds. Not too shabby.
This week is Tyler's Spring Break from preschool. I think it is kind of silly to have a Spring Break for preschoolers who go to someones house, but it's all good. Yesterday we had a fun play date with a fun family in our ward and then tomorrow cousin Averee is going to come here for the day since she is on Spring Break, but her mom's school doesn't have Spring Break for a couple more weeks. So we have been doing some fun things. I think that we might go to Grandma Margie's to play for a little bit today. The weather is still cold, but it is suppose to be nice on Friday, which is really good because that is the day Tony has off this week. Should make for some good yard working and garage cleaning. Sounds like fun stuff.

Weight Watchers Week #5
Last night I had my 5th weight in, and I lost 5.2 pounds from last Tuesday. So far I have lost 18.2 pounds in 5 weeks. I am still really happy with this program and I am glad that I am doing it. I feel good. It is addicting to loose weight and to see the weight go down each week. I don't really notice a difference physically, but as long as the scale is going down and that I am a healthier person, that is what matters the most!

Tyler and Josh's Well Child Visits
This morning we took the boys in for their 4 year and 18 month well child visits to the doctor. The doctor started with Tyler, since he was the big boy.
Then it was Josh's turn.
Weight: 35 pounds (40%)
Height: 39 1/2 inches (31%).
She said that he looked really good and he was able to answer all of her questions just fine. He did get the shots that he needs before he can start kindergarten. She said that we could wait until he was 5, but recommended doing them now. Tyler was really nervous about the shots and then cried a lot when he got them, but now I am glad that it is all over. He is still complaining every now and then that his leg hurts, but I think that he is just milking it so that I will give him what he wants. But he did get three shots, so I have been babying him a little. Then it was Josh's turn.
Weight: 24.7 pounds (31%)
Height: 33 inches (72%)
Head: 46.75 (22%).
She also said that he looked really good. We told her that our only concern with Josh was that he wasn't talking much. He really only says a couple words - Mom, Dad, Ty, Yeah - he should be saying more at 18 months. The doctor said that he was really friendly and outgoing and he seemed to understand everything, so she wasn't worried about the not talking. She said that he was a smart kid and that the talking would come. So that was good to hear. We would just like the screaming to stop. She was a little concerned that he might not have enough iron because he doesn't eat much meat, so she did have us go down to the lap so they could draw his blood. He was a real trooper with that. They first tried to draw the blood from him arm, but couldn't get the vain so then they had to prick his finger. They got the blood they needed and then gave him a sucker. Josh didn't cry long, really Tyler cried much longer and harder then Josh. The doctor will call us if his iron is low. I guess we just wait and see.

Tyler's 4th Birthday
We finally celebrated Tyler's 4th birthday yesterday. We had family from both sides come and had cake, cupcakes, and ice cream. After enjoying the yummy dessert Tyler opened his presents. He really liked them all and had such a good time with all the kids that came. We were sad that non of Tony's siblings were able to make it and hope to see them next time. Here are some pictures of the fun.

Weight Watchers Week #3 and #4
Since I was in CA during my week 3 weigh in, I don't have those numbers, but tonight I went to my week 4 and I lost 0.8 pounds. Not very much, but my goal was just to not gain weight from our vacation. I did really good the first half of our trip, but then the second half I splurged a lot more. I am pretty sure I stayed within all my points though, so I am happy with the loss.
I realized that I failed to mention Tyler's 4th birthday on my last post...he turned 4 on Sunday the 13th. The day that we drove home from our trip. We are going to celebrate on Saturday and have everything Tyler. So that is when I will post about his big birthday bash. Sure can't believe that I have a four year old. Time goes by way too fast.
