Texas Trip - Day 5: Church, Cake Decorating & baking, & Come Follow Me Snuggles

We all got up and got ready for 9:00 am church.  The missionaries spoke during sacrament, and they had a really nice musical number.  We then got to all go to class together because it was a 5th Sunday meeting.  Allie went with Cora and Ollie to Primary, but the rest of us went to class together.  The ward mission leader taught, and it was a good class.

After church Lydia had a cake decorating lesson with a neighbor and they let Megan go with her.  They had a great time learning how to make flowers with butter cream frosting and they also got to work with fondant.  

Cora really wanted to make her own cake since Lydia was going to her special class.  So, I helped Cora and Allie make a cake.  They did a lot of the work and decorated the cake themselves.  Cora was very proud of herself for doing so much of the cake and was so excited to eat it.  

While the cake was baking, we did Come Follow Me with the kids.  While we were watching Drawn In, Ollie climbed up and snuggled in with Josh and Matt.  It was so cute, and I was glad that I was able to get a picture. That Ollie is such a cutie and so sweet to give hugs and snuggles.  

I helped Amy make dinner that was super good.  It was a hamburger roll, and it was yummy.  She gave me the recipe.  After dinner the kids all played, and the adults watched some more woman's soccer.  It didn't take long before Cora was asking to eat the cake, so we did.  The girls did a good job, and it tasted really good.
