Silly Summer Fun

We have been doing some fun things.  Yesterday we went to my parents house where Wendy and her family came into town with some friends for the week.  The kids all played together in the back yard.  Megan and Allie were so happy to play with another girl named Brooklyn (who is the daughter of Wendy's friend).
Last week my presidency and I did a popsicle/ice cream drive thru at the church parking lot.  We invited the whole ward to come, drive by, and get a tasty treat.  We gave out about 80 ice creams.  We wished we would have seen more ward members but with it being Summer and a pandemic and all, we understood.  We had a good time passing out the treats and seeing those we did see.  And I had a good time hanging out with my presidency. 
Last week the kids also got to have a sleepover at grandma Margie's.  While they were there they got to play in grandma's hot tub.  They loved that and had a great time with grandma and grandpa and playing in the water. 
Even though things are not normal still and probably wont be for a while, it is nice to still do fun things.
