For FHE we decided to go and chalk the grandparents. We went to the Clark's first and after we chalked their walks we visited with them for a little while. The kids played in the yard and we checked out their new garden.
After we went to the Steenblik's. We weren't quiet enough so they caught us in the act of chalking. We did visit with them for a little bit and then went home. It was nice getting out of the house and hopefully we brought cheer to the grandparents.
The kids have had lots of time to snuggle and play with Koda while we have been "staying home, staying safe". I think that Koda likes all the attention but he definitely has been acting different. It's like he knows something crazy is going on. He seems like he is more protective of us and our home. He seems to bark more at things and is more attentive. He is such a good dog and we love him. I took Megan in for her well-child visit with Dr. Eyre the other day. I had some concerns with her body odor that has been really bad for the past maybe 6 months. I didn't notice any other signs of puberty but I wanted her checked out.
Dr. Eyre said she didn't see signs of puberty and age 8 isn't too early to start puberty (crazy thought). She said we could run some tests to see if it is a sign of something else, but that she wasn't concerned. Megan did not want to get tested so we opted out of testing. So showers and deodorant will be what we do to help with the smelliness. Everything else looks good. She'd like her to eat more fruits and veggies and stay active. Good advice for us all, especially these days.
