Josh's Well Child Appointment & Flu Shots

I finally got Josh into the doctor for his well-child visit.  I knew that our doctor would want him to get his flu shot so I figured I would take all the kids with us and have them all get their shots.  I let them all know ahead of time that they would be getting flu shots.
I told Tyler that I really needed him to be a big kid this year and not freak out.  I am not strong enough to hold him down anymore and I needed him to not fight it.  He told me he would try to be brave and he was.  He did struggle and cried out that it hurt, but did much better this year then last year.
Josh was worried the whole time about the shot and when the time came he was the one that freaked out the most.  He hid under the table and I had to drag him out and hold him down on the table.  Luckily he is light enough that I was actually able to hold him.  He kept crying that he doesn't like shots...well duh, no one likes shots.  I wasn't very happy about his reaction.
Megan went first and was very brave.  She cried and resisted a little, but did good.  Allie was next.  She cried when she got the shot and a little after, but she didn't cry too long.  It was an exhausting ordeal, but they all got their flu shots and we are good for another year.  Here are Josh's stats:
Weight: 60.5 lbs (66%)
Height: 50 3/4 inches (57%)
BMI: 66%
Dr Eyre said that Josh looks really good.  She is happy with his growth and doesn't have any concerns.  His speech is getting a lot better and people tell me often that he is easier to understand.  This is very good news.  Josh is such a happy kid.  He is helpful and caring.  He loves doing good and getting rewards.  He loves soccer, electronics, and scouts.  He is getting good grades and loves school.  We are so lucky to have Josh is our family.  Tony and I are both very proud of the little man that he is becoming.
