Bear Lake - Day 1

We started our day on Thursday with Tony working on the bathroom.  We got all the plumbing done on it on Monday and so Tony has been working on it every night since.
Tony was able to get the flooring down and prepped for tile, the wall put back in and two layers of mud.  He has been working very hard on it before we left for Bear Lake.
While the boys were at school we finished packing and loaded up the car so that when they were done we were able to get on the road to the house at Bear Lake.
The drive wasn't too bad.  Allie slept for half of it.  The canyon drive was rough for Josh and I.  Josh even threw up right before we got to the house.  We were all very happy to be there and unpacked the car quickly.
After everything was unpacked we all enjoyed just hanging out with each other.  The weather was perfect.  Not too hot, but warm.  Perfect shade weather.
It didn't take the kids long to start playing in the sand.  We always bring up sand toys and the kids have a blast playing in the sand making awesome creations.  Their is a water spout close by and the kids love adding water to the sand to help make their creations...and lots of messy mud.
Tyler of course got out a soccer ball and started playing with that on the huge awesome lawn.  He loved having so much room to run around.
The house comes with lots of balls and toys for the kids to play with.  It really is the perfect spot for a family gathering.  I love sitting on the deck watching the kids play and enjoying the amazing view of the water.
After we had dinner and played, we decided to go get some shakes.  You have to get shakes in Bear Lake, it's tradition.  While we were waiting for the shakes to be made my mom started playing tag with the kids.  It was super funny to watch them running around the picnic area.  The kids loved it.
We all had a good first day and looked forward to getting in the water the next day.
