Well Child Visits

This morning I took Tyler and Megan in to the doctors for their yearly well child visit.
Tyler's stats are currently:

Weight: 70 lbs (70%)

Height: 51 in (25%)

BMI: 86%

Dr. Eyre said that everything is looking really good with him.  She did say that they don't want to see his BMI get any higher so to make sure he was eating his fruits and veggies and getting plenty of exercise everyday.  Lucky for us Tyler is our best/healthiest eater so really this isn't a problem at all.  He is also pretty active but I am sure that we can do better in both of these areas.  Tyler didn't need any shots and he was very happy about that.  He teared up earlier this morning at the house thinking that he would need shots...silly kid.

Megan also looked really good.  Here are Megan's stats:

Weight: 36.5 lbs (63%)

Height: 39.8 inches (53%)

BMI: 75%

 Dr. Eyre didn't have anything extra to add with Megan.  She said that everything looked good and that she would be getting her kindergarten shots today.  I hadn't told Megan yet that she would be getting shots but when I told her she said that she would be very brave, and she was.  She had to get two shots.  One in her arm and the other in her leg.  She didn't cry at all with the shot in her arm but the one in her leg must have hurt a lot because she did cry with that one.  She didn't cry long but she said that shot really hurt.  She was glad to have fun band-aids and was happy that she got to pick out two stickers.  She really is so brave and strong.  I am super proud of her and her girl power. 

While they were waiting for the medical assistant to come back to give Megan her shots Tyler was pretending he was the doctor and was giving Allie and Megan a check up.  It was pretty funny to watch them.  I love my kids so much.  Allie did good during the visit and Josh was happy at school.  Over all a successful visit to the doctors!
