After the soccer game we went on a little trip up north to Layton to go to a farm. The Dibble farm to be exact. Tony works with a guy, Ken, whose parents own the farm and he also works there when he's not working at the cannery. He invited us to come up to his farm and pick some pumpkins. I had been wanting to go to his farm so I was glad that he offered.
His family farms potatoes, onions, pumpkins, corn, and popcorn. He boys got to put the dried ear of corn in the hand cranked "thing" that takes the corn off the cob.
It was kind of neat to see how they get popcorn. The boys liked doing
it. Megan was a little too short to do it, but she liked watching.
