Aunt Cindy's Funeral

My Aunt Cindy passed away last Monday with complications from liver cancer.  She was such an awesome aunt.  She was super silly and fun and she was our favorite crazy aunt.  She found out only weeks earlier that she even had cancer and so her death was very shocking.  She will be greatly missed.
Her funeral was planned for Saturday in Newport Oregon so I started planning how I was going to get there and who was going to go.
I ended up leaving Thursday night and driving to Boise Idaho with Sherri.  We stayed the night and then woke up early to continue on with our trip to Newport.  Julie, Boyd and their kids brought Kevin to Boise the night before so we sort of drove together on Friday.  Kevin came in our car on Friday so the three of us had a very long day of driving to Newport.  We got stuck in Portland traffic and it was very frustrating.
A few hours later then I thought we'd get to Newport, we checked into our hotel.  After we got our stuff unloaded we headed to my aunt and uncle's home where our family was gathering for dinner and chatting.  It was so fun to chat with my cousins, aunts and uncles, and my grandpa.  I have such a fun family and even though we were there because my aunt died we were able to see so many miracles and enjoy each others company.
After we got dressed and had breakfast on Saturday we headed over to the church house to have the viewing and funeral of my Aunt Cindy.  It was really nice.  My mom talked with two of her siblings and three of my cousins talked about their mom.  They all shared great stories of the many talents Cindy had and the many wild and crazy things that she did.  Two past bishops spoke and then my Uncle Morris spoke about his sweet wife.  He did great.  He loves her so much and has such a strong testimony about their temple marriage and being together forever.  It was beautiful.
Then we headed to the grave yard and she was put by her daughter, Jennifer, under a really cool tree.  Her tomb stone is going to say "I told you I was sick." Those Grover's are so funny.  After that we headed back to the church for a lunch.  It was pretty good food and lots of family.  I need me more cousin time.  I love my family so much and I am so glad that I was able to go and show my respects for my Aunt Cindy.
