Last night wasn't too bad. Tony and I went to bed around nine with Megan and then she woke at about 10:30 pm ready to eat again. We decided to have Tony give her a bottle and then they came back to bed. Josh, of course, came in with us around midnight. I let him stay with us because I worry about him feeling left out or not having enough of our attention. Turned out that when Tony got out our Pack-and-Play we had missing polls. So we couldn't set up the bassinet part of the Pack-and-Play, so Megan just slept in-between Tony and I. It wasn't a problem until Josh came in, but we dealt with it.
Megan woke up again about 1:30 am and I fed her until 2:30. She was awake and nursing, so I didn't mind. So then I wrapped her up and put her back to bed with us. She was pretty restless so Tony took her to lay with him on the couch. Turned out she slept until 7:30 am. I kept waking up thinking Tony was going to come in any minute and have me feed Megan. So I was super restless, but Tony and Megan got some good sleep. My milk came in this morning, so that was good. But it made it hard to nurse her because it was hard for her to latch. Tony got out all my pumping gear and I worked on making it easier for her to nurse. She has been pretty sleepy all day. Every time I would nurse, she would fall asleep pretty fast.
Megan had her appointment with Dr. Eyre this afternoon. The doctor said she looks great, but her jaundice numbers were even higher so I now have to give her formula after I nurse her so she can gain some more weight and help her poo and pee more to get rid of the jaundice. I had the doctor check the boys ears to make sure their ear infections were gone. Tyler's ears looked good but Josh had still had an infection not only in one ear but now in both ears. So he's on an antibiotic again, if this doesn't clear it up then we will have to look into an ear doctor for Josh to get tubes. Might be a good idea either way.
My friend is lending us her polls from her Pack-and-Play so Megan doesn't have to sleep with us again tonight. We did order some new ones that should be here within a week. Lets hope she sleeps well tonight...and us too!
