Tyler's last Spring soccer game

Tyler had his last soccer game for the Spring season today.  He did awesome!  He scored two goals (only one of those goals was for the other team) and he had a great attitude the whole game.  He did have a couple great assists that would have been goals, but the other boy on our team beat him to it.  I have been really pleased by how well Tyler is playing and how well he has learned to listen.

Tony really was an amazing coach.  The parents of the kids asked if we were going to play again in the Fall so that we could be on the same team again.  I think that says a lot about how well Tony did with the kids.  Most the kids on Tyler's team were all related.  An awesomely big Tongan family who came to all the games with all the family.  It was so much fun being close to their energy and fun personalities.  At the end of the game we handed out the medals and then some of the parents made candy lei's for all the kids and Tony (they even gave one to Josh - honorary member of the team).  One parent gave me a candle for all my hard work helping the team and then they gave Tony a water bottle.  One of the cute kids even made Tony a card thanking him for being their coach.  Super nice team.  We were both very happy with our team and the experience that we all had this Spring season.  We can't wait to start again in August with Fall soccer.
