On a different note, we have been having some crazy weather. We had some awesome fog come in one night from no where. It came in so fast and was so thick. So we got out the camera and got some cool pictures. We don't usually see tons of fog, especially at night, so it was fun to see it so thick.
Luckily, now we are just having cold weather. The air was so bad for so long I hated going outside and letting Tyler play. He loves it outside, but I worried about our health. I did take him on a couple walks during the icky air weeks and I totally could tell a difference. I think that made us both a lot sicker then we would have been. But then the storm came and took all the bad air away...and now it is just cold. I think that if it is going to be cold, then it should snow. Then at least it is pretty and cold. I really do like the snow, it hasn't snowed much lately though. Okay that is boring...

Oh I'm so sorry Tyler's not sleeping! That is so not fun. I really don't have enough patience for non-sleeper kids so I guess I'm lucky mine sleep so well. Wish I had some advice for you! I thought that fog was awesome too. I was running errands that night and driving through it. It was kinda creepy.
I remember watching on Supernanny (okay, don't laugh at me), and she just said to keep putting them back in bed. The first time, remind them and tell them calmly they need to stay in their bed and go to sleep. Then next time say even less, but still be very calm, almost indifferent. After that just calmly put them back in bed, don't talk any more. She said it may go on for a hour and happen for a few days, but eventually they will learn they aren't getting anything from you, and they will just do it.
Soon after I saw it, I tried it, and it did take about an hour for Jayden to finally give in (he was probably right around 22 months at the time), but it really worked. For him, it only took the one night. It was really hard to not get upset or frustrated, but it really worked!
How'd the sleep training go?
