Fun Random Activities

The girls got to go to a museum downtown with their Activity Days leaders.  They had a really good time and loved going with friends.

Josh has been hanging out more with Brockton and always has a really good time.  Brockton's mom, Heidi, always does super fun things when kids go over to her house.  She is also really good at setting up little parties for her kids and often invites Josh.

We were able to go up to the cabin for the day and it was perfect.  We went on tons of four-wheeler rides and enjoyed the cabin.

We took the rest of the cake from Josh and Allie's birthday party to Margie's house.  There were a couple pieces left so I told the kids they could all get a fork and finish it off.  They all thought that was pretty awesome.

The boys got to go with the young men and young women to spend the night at the Barn's cabin and then they went hiking to a lake the next day.  They said it was really fun and they all had a good time.

Megan got the Soaring Eagle Award at school.  They say it is for high achievement in academics and citizenship.  She is such a good student and friend.  It is nice to see her get awarded for her hard work.

The bottom two pictures are of Tyler with Milo, Suzanne's new dog and Allie with Koda.  The kids love doggies so much and love to snuggle them.

Tony's Boys Weekend in Oregon

Tony got to go to Coose Bay, OR with my dad, Kevin, Boyd, and Joe.  They went crabbing one day and caught tons of crab.  They also went fishing three days.  Tony caught two large salmons and had another bite but gave the pole to my dad to reel it in and the fish got off the hook.  He liked fishing more than crabbing and had a great time hanging out with the dudes.  The weather was perfect, and they all had a great time.

Happy 13th Birthday JOSH!!!

Our Josh is now 13.  Officially a teenager.  I can't say enough good things about Josh.  He is simply amazing!  He is so thoughtful and loving.  He is always asking me how I am doing and what he can do to help me.  He never complains about chores and often asks what else he needs to do.  He is so good to his siblings.  He is so patient with his little sisters and often includes them when he plays his computer or other games.  Josh also goes out of his way at church to say hello to all the members of our ward.  He really likes making other people feel good and doing service.  He likes to be funny.  He has been experimenting with what gets a laugh and what doesn't.  He gets a lot of joy out of making others laugh.  He has been liking Jr. High and making lots of new friends.  He stands up for his beliefs and has a strong testimony.  We all love Josh so much and are very lucky that he is in our family!

Megan Fall Softball Team

Megan has been playing fall softball and she has really liked it.  She misses her team from spring, but she is still enjoying playing softball.  She always has a good attitude and plays hard.  She has been hitting really good and gets a hit in almost every game.  We sure love watching her do what she loves!

Family Birthday Party for Josh & Allie

Allie's Baptism

Allie chose to get baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She has been so excited.  Allie was the only one getting baptized from our stake that day, so we had the whole place to ourselves and were able to plan the service.

We got there nice and early to get everything ready.  Allie loved seeing all her family that came to support her.  We were also able to Zoom in with family out of state.  Allie asked her grandmas to say the prayers, Aunt Suzanne to talk on Baptism and Uncle Kevin to talk about the Holy Ghost.  They all did a great job.

I asked Allie how she felt after she was baptized, and she said so happy. It was a great morning.  After the baptism we had everyone over to our house for a BBQ.  We also celebrated Allie and Josh's birthdays at this BBQ.  We always love spending time with our families, and we are so very proud of Allie for making this convenient with her Heavenly Father.

Happy 8th Birthday Allie

Allie's turned 8 years old today.  She wanted to look extra pretty for church this day.  Her and Megan were twiners, and both looked so pretty.

Allie has been loving Legos lately and does a really good job putting them together.  She loves playing with her friends and playing on the computer.  She has a great imagination and still plays nicely with her toys.  She still loves playing with Barbie's in and out of the bathtub.  She loves treats but does a pretty good job eating the healthy stuff too.  She has gotten really good at playing on the computer as well and can hold her own playing Minecraft with her siblings.

Allie was able to open a couple presents after church and was super happy about that.  Grandma Margie had a special dessert with dinner tonight as well.  We will celebrate with the whole family on Saturday when she also gets baptized.

Tyler's Skin Removal

We decided to get Tyler's birthmark removed.  It started getting thick and it stuck out a lot more than it used to.  The doctor said that it is typical for it to change as kids go through puberty.  They had to numb the spot by shooting numbing meds all around the birthmark.  After it was all numb, the doctor cut out the spot and sewed it up with dissolvable stitches.  He had to wear a band aid for about a week and then he was good to go.  Every day it looks better, and it should just blend right it and be a very minimal scar.  Tyler did a great job with the whole process, and I think he is happy that it's not there anymore.

First Day of School 2022-2023

The kids received their Father's Blessings the night before school started.  They were all wonderful.  The kids all started school the next day and all had a great day.  Josh loves Jr. High and is excited for his new adventure.  The girls both love their teachers and still love school so much.  Tyler loves school too and felt like he never left.  It's so nice that they all love school and have a good time.

Weekend at the Cabin

Tyler finally had a Friday off, so we went up to the cabin for the weekend.  We had a great time relaxing, riding four-wheelers, playing old school Dr. Mario, watching shows, and eating yummy food.

Kevin, Betsy, Gavin, and Jenni came up on Saturday to visit for a few hours.  That was fun hanging out and going on rides.  We love the cabin and wish we could get up there more often.
