Fall Break - Day 1: Flu Shots

I decided that we needed to get the kids flu shots this year. I figured a good time for that would be thursday morning before we left for Ogden.
We had to go to the West Jordan office and wait for the medical assistant. We found out that Tony and I could also get our flu shots as well, so we did.
The plan was the go oldest to youngest but after Tony and I went, Tyler freaked out a little and didn't want to go. So Josh said he'd go. Then Megan freaked out and didn't want to go, so Allie went. Then we had to make Megan go and then Tyler. It's sad that the oldest child was the biggest baby. But it is now all done and we are protected from some of the flu strains that are out there and hopefully we can avoid getting the flu this year.

Josh's Flag Football Fun

Josh loved playing flag football this fall. When he told me he wanted to play I told him he had to try hard and not complain.
He did really good at both of those things. He realized that if he tried hard then he is more successful and then it's more fun.
It is much more fun for us to watch him play when he tries hard.

Tyler's Last Fall Baseball Game

Awe, fall baseball is officially over. It is has been a fun season watching Tyler learn how to play on the bigger field. He has improved his game and has had a lot of fun.
He really likes baseball but is ready for some down time. He will be excited when Spring Ball comes around and he can play again.

Allie - Age 5
Weight - 48 lbs (87%)
Height - 43.875 inches (74%)
BMI - 90%

Dr. Eyre says both Josh and Allie look really good. She doesn't have any concerns about either of them. Maybe just eat more veggies. We sure do love these cuties and were happy to have them in our family.

Josh - Age 10
Weight - 98 lbs (93%)
Height - 55.25 inches (60%)
BMI - 95%

General Conference Fun

The kids decided to do some fun activities to keep their hands busy during general conference. Josh did not, however. He doesn't like Legos so he just hung out. We sure love general conference and the things we learn when we watch it.

Kindergarten Alphabet Parade

The kindergarten teachers had each kid make an alphabet vest representing each letter. Allie go the letter Y. So I spray painted her vest neon yellow and she glued pictures of yellow things on the vest.
Then at the school they had an alphabet parade where the kindergarten students walked around the halls with all their vests on singing the alphabet song. They all looked so cute and did a great job.
