Julie came and picked me up around 5:00 before heading to the airport. My dad took my mom and Teagan to the airport a little after us. They had to wait because Teagan had a class that put her behind us. But since we had to park Julie's car in long term parking and then catch a shuttle we wanted to make sure we had plenty of time.
Julie and I did find a good parking spot and then got all checked in without any problems. Julie wanted to eat so we got some Cafe Rio and she ate half of it then and saved the other half for the plane ride. Julie and I got to sit by each other on the first flight but then I sat by myself on the second flight so that my mom, Julie, and Teagan could all sit by each other.
We got into Charleston after midnight and had to get an Uber to take us to our hotel. The driver was really nice and even gave us a Charleston Chew. We thought he was so clever to have those.
After getting to our hotel at like 1:00 am we found that they had given away our room. Wendy had gotten in earlier so she checked into her and Julie's room, but our other room was no longer. They misunderstood our situation and thought that they were saving us money.
I stayed very calm and was super understanding to the situation and the worker really appreciated that. He gave us a room with a king size bed that my mom and I stayed in while Julie and Teagan shared the other bed in Wendy's room. It all worked out where we all had a place to sleep for that night. We then got into our other room the next day which was by Wendy and Julie.

Jordan River Temple Open House
We were able to go to the Jordan River Temple open house. It was really busy and lots of people waiting to get in. It was well worth the wait.
I loved being able to tell the kids about the temple and what we do in different rooms. Tyler and Josh LOVED everything about. Megan and Allie liked it too. Tyler said the temple was indescribable and cried overcome with the spirit. It was so nice for Tony and I to take our kids to the temple and we look forward to taking them back to do work for the dead.

Bella's Puppies!
Bella had her puppies. My parents told us that she started having them so I wanted to go right over and check it out. Tyler and Josh wanted to come with me so I brought them along.
Once we got their Bella had already had three of her puppies so we sat by her box and waited for her to have some more. It was such a neat experience. We got to see the whole thing. She birthed one puppy at a time and it came out in the sack and then Bella ate it off the puppy and then licked the puppy all clean. Such an amazing thing to see.
Bella was such a good mama and did such a good job birthing all ten of your puppies. I am so glad that Tyler and Josh were able to be there with me and able to experience the miracle of life.
Allie's Eyes
Pool Allie got pink eye again. She is such a good sport and if putting up with me wiping and cleaning it all the time. I sure hope this passes soon.
Easter Egg Hunting
Nana moved into her new place a month or so ago and they had an Easter egg at her building. She invited our kids to come and participate. Allie was not feeling very good so I stayed home with her and Tony took the kids to Nana's with Margie. They all had a wonderful time.
The kids were all super excited for the home Easter egg hunt on Easter after church. It is fun that they all still like to do the hunt and let me take lots of pictures.

Pinewood Derby for Tyler & Josh
After the Arrow of Light ceremony the boys competed in the Pinewood Derby. They didn't place in the top 3 but they both had a good time making their cars, painting them, and then racing them. It was craziness because we competed as a whole stake, so lots of cars and lots of kids.
Margie and Lloyd were able to come for the Arrow of Light and stay for the derby. A good time was had by all!

Arrow of Light for Tyler
Grandma Kim and Papa G were able to come and see him get his award (but then had to go before the derby). They gave it to him before the derby so it was a little chaotic. But he got it and we are all very proud of him.

Tyler & Megan's Birthday Dinner
Tyler and Megan chose to go to Texas Roadhouse for their birthday dinner. We all love eating there and they make the kids feel special with ice cream and singing on the saddle. We can't believe that we have an 11 year old and a 6 year old. We sure love our kiddos!!!

Family Party for Tyler & Megan
We celebrated Tyler and Megan's birthdays with our both sides of our families. We let the kids play with their cousins and then we had cupcake's and ice cream. Both Tyler and Megan were spoiled with fun gifts from all. We all had a great time and we are thankful to all our family who came and supported.
