Island Park: Day 3 - Bear & Wolf Park & Yellowstone

Island Park: Day 2 - Hiking, Lunch, Big Springs, Mesa Falls, & Fun

Island Park: Day 1 - Drive, Lunch, Drive, Dinner, Games & Fun

We started our drive late in the morning heading towards Idaho.  We stopped and ate lunch in Malad at a yummy restaurant that we all really liked.
After that we drove to the lodge in Island Park.  It was a few miles off of the main freeway on a really bumpy road.  The lodge was really big and awesome.  They had like 8 large bedrooms downstairs and two large bedrooms with bunk beds in them upstairs.  They also had a theater room that was really cool.  They also had tons of fun things for the kids to do upstairs.  They had a zip line, pool table, and ping pong table.  It was pretty amazing!

Washing Koda

We took Koda to get washed at a doggie wash place.  The girls wanted to come.  They liked helping wash Koda until another dog there started barking and howling while getting dried.  The girls then went and played in the car until that dog was gone.  They have big windows and the car was right out front with the windows down.  Koda now looks super clean and is super soft.  We sure love our Koda.

More Walks

This morning we went on a nice walk.  Tyler and Megan went on a bike ride while Josh, Koda, and I walked with Allie scooting around in front of us.
It is nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine before it gets too hot.

New Playground

Lloyd and Margie had their drive way redone so the girls and I went over to watch all the fun action.  The girls played a lot in the back yard and colored some inside.
We went on a walk around the neighborhood to check out the new road that was put in and then came back on the Jordan River Parkway.
The girls really wanted to check out the new playground that was put in at the park.  The last cement truck had just gotten to grandma's house so we watched them unload the truck before we took them to the park.
The girls loved the new playground and Margie and I loved walking around on the new soft squishy flooring on the playground area.
We got hot pretty quick and went back to the house to get a drink and watch them do some more of the driveway.  They did such a good job and it looked so good.  We had a good day hanging out with grandma and grandpa and watching the driveway get built.
