Christmas 2019

We had a great Christmas.  The kids didn't wake up too early, like 6:30 am.  Allie woke up Megan and it was so cute to hear her little voice telling her to wake up because Santa had come.
We all had lots of gifts to open and it was fun watching everyone enjoy their presents.  Megan wanted to open everything she could get her hands on (even Tony and my presents).  It was so fun to see how excited they all got after they opened their presents.
After breakfast and a few hours of hanging out at home we went over to Grandma Margie's house.  We took them some gifts and they had some for us.  They kids loved everything they had for them and we liked ours too.  Luckily they liked what we brought them as well.
After hanging out there for a few hours we left to go to my parents house for Christmas dinner.  We handed out our gifts to my parents and then we opened our stocking from my parents.
We ate a yummy dinner and then hung out there for a couple hours.  The kids had fun but wanted to get back home to play with their toys.  After we got home we let them play for a couple of hours before sending them to bed.  It was a long day but a great day.  We are all very thankful to celebrate our Saviors birth with our family!

Christmas Eve

We always have a great time at the Kresser family party.  The kids spent the night at Grandma's house the night before with Gabe and Brennen.  They got to help her get the house ready for the party.  They always have a great time with cousins and love spending times at Grandma's.
After the extended family left the party we cleaned up and got the rooms put back together.  Then it was open jammie time.  It is fun to see what jammies grandma finds for the kids and to see them all wearing them together.  She is so good to do these fun traditions.

Christmas Sunday

Clark Family Christmas Party

Here are all the actors of the great nativity!  They all did a great job!
The kids table.  The food and company was amazing.
My dad narrated the Christmas story and the kids acted it out.

My mom had my Aunt Luanna make the girls a tea set.  She gave the kids their Christmas presents at the party.  Megan and Allie LOVED the tea set.  Luanna did an amazing job!

Christmas Sing-a-long

Megan's class sang a Noel song...she did awesome!
Josh's class sang a new song I had never heard before.  A song about zebra's pulling Santa's sleigh.  He did a great job!
Allie sang the beloved JINGLE Bells.  She sang out loud and proud.  I was a proud mama!

Tyler's Winter Choir Concert

Tyler had his first choir concert at the Jr. High.  Margie was able to come and support with our family.
Tyler did such a good job.  I was a little worried that he would get nervous and not be able to sing like he would like to.  But he had no problems at all.  He sang out loud and proud!  He moves around when he sings and feels the music.
Besides singing in all the mixed choir songs he also sang in a trio.  He sang "Carol of the Bells" with two other girls.  It was a hard and fast song and they did a good job.  They were the only group that projected their voices and we heard them very well.
Tyler insisted he wear his suit and he looked very nice.  The only other kid in a suit was his friend Austin.  They sang by each other for most the concert and did a good job.  His friend Katie looked super cute too.  Tyler and Katie matched in blue.  They all did so good and it was so fun for us to see Tyler perform and we are so proud of him.

Megan's Big Trip to Texas

Megan and Lydia are the bestest of friends.  They have missed each other so much since Lydia's family moved to Texas.
Margie and Lloyd were planning on flying to Texas for Lydia's baptism and Nate and Amy thought it would be such a great idea to surprise Lydia with having Megan fly with grandma and grandpa to their house.
We agreed and we planned for her to go with grandma, grandpa, and aunt Suzanne for the baptism.
The night before they were to leave I took Megan to tumbling and after tumbling I took her to Margie's.  I told her grandma wanted a special sleepover with her.  At first Megan didn't want to stay but she quickly changed her mind and was excited for her special sleepover.
Suzanne went to Margie's late that night and so the next morning Margie told Megan that they needed to drop Suzanne off somewhere before they took her to school.
They went to the airport and parked and then asked Megan where they were...she knew she was at the airport.  They asked what do you do at the airport?  She said...go on an airplane...and they asked if she wanted to go on an airplane and go see Lydia get baptized?
Megan said she couldn't go because she had school.  Grandma told her that mom said she could miss school and go to Texas.  She was not too sure about that and wanted to get back in the car to go to school.  But once they showed her the special Mickey suitcase I packed for her she perked right up and was so excited to go.
She loved going in the airplane.  She got to sit by the window and when the plane was taking off she put her hands up in the air like it was a roller coaster.  Suzanne said she did great on the airplane and that she loved it.
Once they got to Texas they rented their car and then went to Nate and Amy's house.  The kids were all there waiting for their visitors to come.  Amy recorded when Megan was at the door and Lydia answered.  Lydia was so happy and couldn't stop jumping up and down.  It was such a fun thing to see.  Then they went off to play like no time had past.
They got to do tons of fun things while they were there.  They started off Saturday with Lydia's baptism.  It turned out perfect and Megan loved seeing her get baptized.
After the baptism they went and did some fun things around their town.  They went to see a water feature place and then they saw a big Christmas tree. They had so much fun together the whole weekend.  I was told they just played and played.  They had a magical time together and it was awesome for everyone.
I was kind of bummed that I wasn't able to go with Megan for her first flight and to see the surprise of her and Lydia but Margie, Suzanne, and Amy did a great job of taking pictures and videos to share with us.  She now loves flying on airplanes and wants to go on more far away trips in an airplane.  She had a magical time.  She is one lucky girl!
