California 2019 - Downtown Disney
It was a wet evening at Downtown Disney. We got on poncho's and made our way around the stores. The kids really loved the Lego store and checking out all the fun things at the Disney Store. They love looking for what they might get for the souvenirs.

We found some cute shirts for all of us to wear one day at Disneyland. We then stopped at the candy shop and picked out a yummy baked good for each of us. We then enjoyed our goodie at the hotel when we got back for the night. Then it was sleep time before Disneyland time!

We started our trip bright and early (okay not so bright - it was still dark). We started driving down to California when Allie told us her mouth still hurt (she complained about it the day before). We decided to stop in St. George and take Allie to the Instacare. Megan had strep throat a few days earlier so we were worried that Allie had it too.
The strep test was negative but the doctor said she had all the signs that she did have it, so she gave us a prescription just in case. We didn't want to wait to see if she got worse, (and we didn't want to spread her germs) so we filled the prescription and started her on the medicine.
After all that fun we finally got back on the road and made our way to California and our hotel.
The next morning after we ate breakfast we all got ready and went to church. It was a nice ward and a good meeting.
We then changed our clothes and tried to go to the swamp meet. It was raining off and on so a lot of the vendors were either already gone or packing up to leave. We were bummed, but just did some other things.
We had dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant. The food was good but the service was really slow. After dinner we decided to walk around Down Town Disney.

Oh, the Snow
We have had tons of snow the last day and a half. I measured 12 inches on the toy box in the back yard but I think we got even more snow then that.
It was so much snow yesterday morning that they actually cancelled school. They haven't had a snow day in over 10 years.
I started shoveling the snow and it was just too much so I asked my neighbor if I could borrow their snow blower and that made it so much easier. I was able to do all of my driveway and sidewalks and my neighbors across the street. One of these days we will get one for ourselves.
The snow stopped and cleared up for a few hours before it started again last night. So this morning I went out and shoveled the sidewalks before school this morning.
I took Megan into the doctor yesterday afternoon because she complained her ears and mouth hurt. Turns out she has a double ear infection and strep throat. So Tony stopped at Costco and picked up her medication and she got started last night and is already feeling a little better. She is home from school today but should be good to go back tomorrow. Now we just hope and pray that no one else gets sick since we leave for California on Saturday and don't want more sick kids (or parents) on vacation.

Megan - Dancer of the Week
Megan is the Dancer of the Week at her dance studio. She was so excited to see the hearts on the door and porch. It made her feel so special. She also got her picture up on the wall in the dance studio. We are so proud of our little dancer and think she is super awesome!
My Princess Engineers
My mom bought the girls these adorable play dresses from Costco and Megan and Allie were so excited to play in them.
They twirled and pranced around before getting out the Lego's and building some sweet creations. I love that they can be girly girls and smarty pants at the same time!
