Christmas Eve Family Party

It was another great Christmas Eve party.  Derek and Don came and surprised us all at the party.  They came right before the party started and we were all so surprised.  It was so good to see them since it's been years.
Our kids didn't even remember Derek so it was nice for them to get to see him in person so they can now remember him.
There were a lot of family members who were really surprised by my weight loss and I got lots of complements (which is always nice).
After the party our kids and the cousins all got their annual Christmas jammies and they all changed and took pictures with Nate's kids over Skype.  Since they are moving to Logan next month we are hoping that next Christmas Eve we will all be together.
After the kids were all changed we went home and put them to bed before Santa came.  Good Christmas times with family!

Clark Family Christmas Party

It was another great Clark Family Christmas Party.  We had it at Julie's house again and it was perfect.  We had the kids all open up their cousins gifts before we ate.  They all loved their gifts and loved that they got them from their cousins.
After presents we all ate lots of yummy food and had lots of good conversations.  I love being with my family!
After we ate we played the adult gift exchange game.  Always a fun game and we all got some good stuff to take home.
This year I really wanted to do a nativity with all the kids.  I put Averee in charge since she loves putting on shows.  She did a good job assigning parts and writing the script for Papa G to read.  The kids all looked so cute in their costumes and did good playing their parts.
After they did the play some of the kids showed us their talents.  Tyler, Averee, and Hayden played the piano. Megan danced around and did cartwheels.  Good times.
My mom brought her karaoke machine and we all took turns singing and dancing.  It was so much fun.  The kids liked taking turns and so did us adults.  It was a great party and we all had a great time being with family!

Temple Square

We finally made it to Temple Square to see the lights and the visitor centers.  We left right after the kid got home from school so we could avoid the crowds and not get so cold.
We got to walk around the temple grounds and take pictures on the steps of the temple.  The kids really liked that.
We also went to the visitors centers and checked out the different exhibits.  We were outside the temple when the lights turned on.  They rang a bell and then all the lights turned on.  It was pretty cool.
After that we went to the main visitor center where we got to see the Christ statue and got pictures by it.
After that it was really dark and their were a lot more people all around.  We had seen everything and were ready to go back to our car and get some dinner.  We all had a great time and plan on going back every year.

School Christmas Program

We went to the kids Christmas program and they all did great.  Tyler got to play and sing many songs because he is in the choir.  He was right on the front row because he knows all the songs and is so animated.  He is so fun to watch, the silly kid.
Josh and Megan sang one song each and did very good.  They didn't seem nervous at all and sang out loud and proud.  Tony was able to get off work early and join Margie, Allie, and I.  We all had a great time.

Candy Making Fun

The kids and I went to Julie's house to make caramels and other treats.  She also helped me make my gifts for the kids teachers.
Averee was so sweet with the girls.  She set up a whole tea party for them and they were so cute eating their treats and drinking their "tea".  She is such a fun cousin and is so good with the little girls.  She is what all little kids should get in a bigger cousin.
We love spending time with Julie and her family.  A good time is always had and we never want to leave when it's time!

First Snow of the Season

We all woke up this morning to snow.  Megan came running into our room yelling, "It snowed!"  The kids were all very excited to go play in it.  So after breakfast we all got on our snow clothes and went out to have some fun.
The snow was very wet but still fun to play in.  We got the sidewalk and driveway shoveled and then Tony and I decorated our hanging plant hook that is in our front flower garden.  A good time was had by all.  Bring on the snow!
