California Trip - Disnyland: More Awesome Rides!

Josh, Mom, Allie, Megan, and Tyler with our cool 3D glasses ready to go on the Toy Story ride.  So much fun.
Mom, Tyler, Dad, and Allie on the Jungle Cruise.

Josh and Dad on Thunder Mountain.
Mom and Dad on Thunder Mountain together by ourselves.  We had fast passes but someone had to stay off with Allie so Tony and I stayed off with Allie while Margie took the kids on the ride.  After they went then we got to go.  It's the one time the whole trip Tony and I were able to do something just us.
Tyler, Margie, Megan, and Josh on Thunder Mountain.  It was Megan's first time and she loved it.  Look at that smile.  Josh enjoyed the ride more this time too.  Josh did much better on all the rides this time.  It was so nice to see him enjoy the rides and not get so scared.

California Trip - California Adventure

We always have a good time in California Adventure. We decided to go there first thing on our last day because the lines were way too long to start at Disneyland.
My favorite ride in California Adventure is the Toy Story ride that is like an arcade game.  Megan had to go to the bathroom right before we got on the ride so Tony had to take her.  They gave him a pass to return and it was for a whole group to go to the front of the line.  I didn't know that he got a pass so I asked about it and they gave me a pass too.  So we used one pass one day and the other the next day.  It was so nice not to have to wait in the line.  We were really spoiled with that pass.
While Tony was waiting inline to go on the carousal with all the kids, Megan was leaning over the water to touch the spraying out water and she leaned too far and fell head first into water getting herself completely wet.  She was warned not to lean over so far, so I guess she learned her lesson.  She was not happy about being all wet and got a pretty good scrape on her arm.
Tony called Margie and I over to come and get her (we were just sitting on the other side of the ride).  I packed extra clothes for the girls just in case but I didn't have extra shoes/socks.  So I took Megan into the bathroom and changed her clothes and dried her up the best I could.  But I couldn't put wet shoes and socks back on so Tony and I had to go find her some new shoes.  We found the cheapest pair of flip flops we could ($20) and then we went back to having fun in the park.  We only got to go on the Ariel ride once, but it was Megan's favorite.  We spent more time in California Adventure then we normally do because it was so busy in Disneyland and we were having such a great time.
We didn't get on the Tower of Terror ride this trip.  The ride was either down or the fast passes were all out and we didn't want to wait.  We were a little bummed because they are changing the ride and we wanted to go on it one more time and it would have been the first time for Megan and Josh.  Josh and Tyler both went on the ride Screamin' - first time for both.  They were both so worried about going on it and then ended up loving it.  Tyler loved it more then Josh and went on it a few more times before the end of our trip.
Tyler and Josh really liked to watch the performers do the "Newsies" act where they sing and dance around as Newsies.  The kids love that show and Tyler, especially, loved watching the actors do it there.
We also got to watch the new show Frozen at the theater in California Adventure.  It used to be Aladdin, which was really good.  This so was even better then Aladdin, it was AMAZING!  They had great actors and the special affects were awesome.  Allie and Megan both did so good watching it the whole time.  Tyler and Josh liked it too.  I am glad that we took the time to see it.  We had debated whether to wait to see it or not, I am glad that we waiting.  It was so good.
We really did have so much fun.  Even though it was pretty busy and their were lots of people we still had so much fun.  We are so lucky to be able to go with Margie and make all these amazing memories.

California Trip - Disneyland: Cars Land

We got to go on the Radiator Springs Racer ride a couple times one morning because Margie got us Fast Passes while the rest of us went straight in line for the ride.
Margie met up with us and took Allie to go on rides while we waited in line with the other 3 kids.
Allie LOVED the two rides in Cars Land that she could go on.  She would say "more car" whenever she would have to get off the ride and then she would cry.  It was pretty cute that she liked it so much. She would get such a big smile on her face during the ride, so cute!
Luckily she got to go like four times in a row that morning.  We met up with Margie and Allie after our ride and we all got to go with them on the rides.  One of the rides is a newer ride where the cars all dance together to music.  It is pretty fun, we all liked that ride.
It was a good thing that we got to go so many times before it got too crazy busy in the park.  Cars Land is always super fun and we all had such a good time, especially Allie.

California Trip - Disneyland: More Fantisy Land

California Trip - Disneyland: Toon Town!

Megan, Tyler, and Josh waiting in the line for the roller coaster in Toon Town.  It is a fun one and you can go when you are little.  Allie was tall enough to ride this time.
Josh and Tyler all ready for the ride with Megan in the background waiting for me to sit back down by her.  She was a little nervous at first but loved the ride after it was done.
Allie and Dad.  Allie was a little nervous at first too, but she liked the ride...a little.  She wasn't too sure what to think.  I think next time she will really get into it.

California Trip - Fantasy Land

Allie on her favorite ride - "horses".
Allie and Tyler on the horses having a wonderful time!
Daddy was so exited to go around and around...and around again with Allie.
Allie on Dumbo.  I put her down quickly and took a fast picture so that I could hurriedly take pictures of the rest of our group before the ride started.  It made for a silly picture of Allie with her eyes shut.
Josh doing up his seat belt on Dumbo.  Looking so cute in his cool sunglasses.
Grandma and Megan - two peas in a pod!
Tyler already for Dumbo to start.  Him and Josh liked being able to ride by themselves on the rides.  They are getting way too big.
Josh, Tyler, and Allie waiting in line for the Wild Toad ride.  It is one of Josh's favorites.
While I was taking a picture of the kids in the seat outside the Wild Toad ride "Gaston" thought he needed to come pose for my picture because clearly I wanted a picture of him...so funny.  Allie didn't like the Wild Toad ride and wasn't happy we wanted a picture right after the ride.  Gaston is blocking Meagan.
Here they all are.  Megan, Tyler, a not-so-happy Allie, and silly Josh outside the Wild Toad ride.
