Tomorrow is suppose to be another hot day, so we decided to blow up the small pool to get it ready for tomorrow.
The kids had so much fun playing with the pool even with no water. The boys love jumping into the pool or over the pool. Megan loved climbing in and out of the pool too. They had way too much fun. I was nice to sit in our swing and watch the kids having fun in the backyard. We are so lucky to have three great kids.

I Was O So Wrong
I thought it (the miscarriage) happened Friday late morning, but then Friday night at around 8:30 pm I started having really bad contractions again for hours. I didn't go to bed until close to midnight that night because the contractions were just so strong. I am not sure when it actually came out, but I am just glad that the contractions are done. Now I am just dealing with cramping, really bad period cramps...and lots of blood. I know that this is a lot of personal information, but this is what is happening in my life right now.

Pizza Night
Pizza Hut had a good deal on pizza so we decided to have that for dinner. We had a laid back night and just ate in the front room. I took some pictures of my cute kids enjoying their pizza and drinks while we watched some silly show. It's nice to spend time as a family.
I thought that pizza tasted good at first, but after a couple slices I wasn't a fan. I don't know if it's just my emotions or what, I was not impressed.
Tyler had his InnoTab out and was playing Primary songs while he ate. Tony down loaded some songs onto his InnoTab from the CD we got from our ward Primary song leader. He loves to listen to his favorite songs over and over.
Josh mainly just drank his juice and left his pizza. That boys is such a silly eater. He has not been a very good listener lately and it's really starting to make me mad. I need to be better at following through quicker so he will listen to me the first time I tell him something.
Megan is...drama. Don't get me wrong, she is cute drama but definitely drama. She knows what she wants and makes in know to everyone, very loudly, if she doesn't get what she wants. But most the time she is a super kid and I just love her up, so what can you do. I love these three kids, so blessed to have them in my life.

Well...It happened
I am pretty sure that I have miscarried the sack and whatever else was there earlier today. I was hoping that I wouldn't do it while Tony was at work and it was just me and the kids, but that is exactly what happened.
Things started really happening about 9:30 am and lasted until about 12:00 pm. I had some major contractions and cramping off and on. Their were a couple times that it hurt so bad I couldn't help but start to cry a little bit. Sweet Tyler was very helpful to me. He could tell that I was in a lot of pain and he would come and give me a big hug and kiss. One time he even said a prayer for me as soon as he saw that I was in pain. He is such a sweet kid and I am so lucky to have him. Tony wasn't any help to me since he was gone and didn't really check up on me, so good thing I at least had Tyler to show me some love and concern.
My sweet neighbor, Dona, brought us some yummy cookies and a cinnamon loaf. She came right when I was in the thick of things and it was nice to know that she was thinking of me and went out of her way to show me her love with goodies. It's nice to have good neighbors who are even more thoughtful then family, since I haven't heard from any of mine today. I know that they have their own lives, but I thought that I would get at least a text from someone to see how I was doing...I guess I expect too much out of my family. I did hear from Tony's mom last night and she called Tony tonight and asked about me, so that's was nice.
I feel like Tony is just pretending like nothing is happening, or maybe he really just doesn't care. He's not sensitive to what I am going through at all. I think that he is glad that this happened because he didn't want another kid...I don't know...I am just full of crazy lady emotions.

Blighted Ovum = No Baby
Well, I had some more spotting yesterday and it was a little brighter then before. So I decided to go in and have an ultrasound. I got the appointment for 3:15 this afternoon. Tony was off of work by then and so we dropped the kids off at his parents and went to the appointment.
The tech could only find the sac and no baby. So she decided to do an internal exam to see if she could see any better, but the results were the same. So she said she would contact my midwife and Julie said to come in to her office right away.
Tony and I headed right there. We had to wait a long time to see her but when she came in she told me I have experienced a blighted ovum. "A blighted ovum occurs when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus but doesn't develop into an embryo. It is also referred to as an anembryonic pregnancy and is a leading cause of early pregnancy failure or miscarriage...With a blighted ovum the pregnancy sac forms and grows, but the embryo does not develop."
So pretty much the fetus didn't grow but the sac did. So now I have to just wait until my body miscarries this sac. I have been bleeding more so we are hoping that I can just miscarry here at home soon. If it hasn't happened by tomorrow afternoon then I have a prescription for a medicine that can help to give you contractions and help you miscarry. If that doesn't work then I will have to have surgery and get a D&C. I am hoping that my body will just get rid of it. I really don't want to have surgery.
So Tony and I are both a little sad and disappointed, but we know that everything happens for a reason. When I first started spotting I had my concerns, and so I feel like I almost prepared myself for the worst. I think it is a little easier to deal with because we didn't actually loose a baby, but the thought of a baby. I don't know. It's different. I just hope I can rid my body of this stuff and move on from here. It's so nice to have a good understanding of the plan of salvation.

SHOCKER
04/29/2013 - We had a bit of a surprise happen to us. It all started about a week or so ago when my breast starting getting tender. I thought it was a little weird, but that happens some times before you start your period. Then I was having a little phlegm in the mornings and was feeling tired. But Megan hasn't been sleeping very well, so Tony and I have both been tired lately. But it wasn't until I missed my period that I really started to worry. I came up with lots of different reasons to wait to take a pregnancy test, but this morning I had no more excuses. Tony needed to get some things at the hardware store, so I asked him to pick up a test while he was out.I took the test as soon as he got home from the store. It took less then a minute to show me the results. I couldn't believe it...well I could...the signs were there...but we were not planning this. I took the test outside where Tony was working and showed him. He was surprised to say the least. We talked for a while about different things, we were still in shock. I looked up what my due date would be and it is December 31st. Megan will only be like 21 months old.
We weren't sure if we'd have another baby, Tony was pretty adamant that we were done. But I wasn't sure so this is definitely an answer to my prayers. It is happening a lot sooner then I thought it would if we did have another one. It took us so long to get pregnant with Megan we didn't really worry too much about preventing these last couple months...guess this baby was meant to be and meant to come to us now.
We don't plan on telling anyone for a while. That is why I am doing these post as drafts until I am ready to make this information public. We did have to tell my parents because my mom was planning on taking me on a cruise in October so I thought it only fair to tell her before she made too many plans. It's not really fair to her to take someone on a trip that is sick the whole time. I didn't sleep at all last night. My mind just kept running and running. I am still in shock. It is such a blessing and I am super excited for a baby, but surprised that it is happening so soon.
04/31/2013 - I think about the fact that I am pregnant all day long. I still can't believe it. It is pretty crazy that every time I go to the bathroom I look at the tissue and half expect to see red showing that I am starting my period. I still don't feel too sick. Tired mostly. Every now and then I will feel nauseous but after I eat something I feel better. It is still really early.
I have started going through the kids room and getting rid of things that we really don't use or need. With another member of the family coming we just don't have room to keep stuff we don't use or need. It is kind of nice to have things more organized.
I told Tony that I won because now we are having four kids and he said that we might as well have six now. I said no way. Four will be more then enough for me to handle. I am pretty sure after this one we are done. I couldn't say that after we had Megan...I just felt that we would have four kids. It's still super crazy to think of.
05/12/2013 - Today we told our siblings. They all seemed really surprised. My siblings had a lot of questions for me, which I expected. I was happy to answer them and it felt really good talking about it. I decided not to wait to tell them. The reason you wait to tell people is if you miscarry the baby. I figure if I loose the baby then I am going to want to talk about it and will want the support of my family. I am glad that they all know and that they are all so supportive of us. We have such a great family!
05/17/2013 - It has been a hard week. I woke up Monday morning with a major headache. Later that day my throat and ear started hurting. I thought I was getting a sinus infection. Tuesday I still felt bad so I went into the doctor. She told me that there hasn't been enough time to say if I have infection and most sinus infections are viral so I needed to just wait it out. So she told me to take musinex and an allergy med and that should help me. So then it was off to find these medicines and make sure they were okay to take while pregnant. So I still don't feel good. I have been feeling very nauseous off and on all day long. I have also been EXHAUSTED! I don't know if it is just the pregnancy or if it's the meds too, but I am tired all the time. My sinuses are all messed up and I just want to feel good again. I sure hope that this is all gone by the time we leave for Denver in about a week and a half and that I don't get any more sick.
05/19/2013 - Today I found a little pink on my tissue after I went to the bathroom. I immediately started to worry. I have never spotted with any of my other pregnancies. I started reading about spotting in my pregnancy books and they pretty much said not to worry too much unless you have lots of cramping. I was having back cramps, but nothing in the front. So I asked Tony for a blessing to help me feel better. He didn't tell me everything would be perfect, but he did give me comfort. I needed the humbling. After the blessing I have not had anymore spotting. I am really hoping and praying that I will not have any more spotting. I need to stay humble and not over due things. I am really thankful for this pregnancy and feel extremely blessed to be able to get pregnant and have my own babies. It really is a blessing.
05/20/2013 - I spotted a little again today. It was early this afternoon, about the same time as yesterday. It wasn't bad, but it still worries me. I am glad that it stopped and hope that it doesn't come back. Crazy stuff.
05/26/2013 - I haven't had any more spotting, luckily. I haven't started throwing up yet, so that makes me nervous that I am not more sick. I do still feel sick off and on and am super tired everyday. It's hard not to worry, but I am trying to not let it get to me. I think when we get back from Denver I will call my Midwife and see if I can go in for an ultrasound before my appointment, just to make sure everything looks good. Guess we'll see.
Dinner With Old Friends
Tonight we got together with some friends that I grow up with. Some of these girls went to Elementary with me and the others Jr. High. It was really fun to get together and hear about what has been going on in each others lives. It was fun to see everyone and hope that we can do it again soon. Wow, how things have changed.
Helping and Playing at The Neighbors
Our neighbors, the Kunzler's, rented a bobcat and had a pile of dirt delivered to fill in the ditch in the back of their house. They asked Tony if he could drive the bobcat for them and of course Tony did. I think he was having a little too much fun driving the brand new bobcat. He was spinning out a little bit and having a good time playing with the big toy.
So we all went over to their house and watched Daddy drive the dirt and the kids played and played. All the kids just LOVE playing in their backyard and it is always hard to get them to leave.
We love the Kunzler's. They are the best. So thoughtful and caring of our family. They bought us all pizza to eat at their house while we watched Tony. They are so good to let the kids play at their house and get into their toys. Tyler loves to play in their hammock. They also have a really fun tree that is pretty easy for the kids to climb, so they really love that. It's just a fun place to be with fun people.
So glad that we (meaning Tony) were able to help them out with their pile of dirt. They are going to have more loads brought for a couple more nights, so that should be lots of fun for us all.

Today Was So Much Fun
We had such a good day today. It started by going up to Logan for the blessing of my brother's new baby, Gavin. The drive up went really well. The boys played with their new game that we got them from Denver on the InnoTab and Megan ended up falling asleep after about a half an hour.
Church was nice. Kevin did a good job and Baby Gavin is now blessed. After church we went back to Kevin and Betsy's house and had a super yummy lunch. After eating and chatting for a while we decided to go and visit Tony's brother, Derek.
Derek moved into a new town house, so it was nice to see his new place. We got to meet his new roommate and the kids liked rough housing with Uncle Derek, even though they called him Uncle Nate.
After we officially annoyed his roommate, we decided to go. We wanted to see if Yvette was home, so we stopped by her house before heading home. When we got to Yvette's house it was her husband who came to the door and he told us that she just got into the shower. We decided to wait and play with her dogs. He granddaughter was there and the boys liked playing with her.
Yvette came out after not too long and we had a good chat. The boys went into her back yard to play with her granddaughter and we followed shortly after. They were playing with water guns and water from the sprinklers. It didn't take Josh long to get all wet, so I let him take off his wet clothes and he just played around in his underwear. Tyler got really wet too, but they had so much fun. Megan even ended up climbing in the little pool and she sat down. She wasn't too happy when she did that, I think it was a lot colder then she thought it'd be.
All the kids had so much fun. They were running around their huge and fun back yard and could have played there for hours and hours. I felt kind of bad that we just showed up and then stayed for hours. They didn't seem to mind and enjoyed having some kids for their granddaughter to play with. Yvette and her husband, Russ, and the nicest people you will meet. She gave us some toys for Koda, toys for the boys, and even a monkey back pack for Megan. Just so nice. We showed up unannounced and then they give us gifts. So nice.
So we didn't end up getting home until about 7:00 tonight. We didn't think we would be up there that long, but we had a great time. We sure do love being with friends and family.
